Wow. Thank you so much! I'm literally a recovering opioid addict. Heroin and now weaning off Methadone (almost done). Well, I actually used to be a polytoxicomaniac, and have been struggling for the biggest part of my life with Trauma and other mental issues from bad narcissistic abuse at home! And literally, now I'm almost completely sober! Almost off of the Methadone and turned around my life for good! I can't believe, that I had been watching you two, the whole time, which by the way gave me a lot of strength and so much comofort, and now realising, that Andrew and I share such a similiar srory. You two helped me love and accept myself and deal with all my traumas! I now have friends I want to live for and I can see a future again. And I carry love inside me. So thank you so much. You somehow helped me through this hole with you humour and wholeheartedness! And now seeing that you struggled with so similliar stuff, and I'm almost crying right now, but that makes me feel like I really could one day find the same happiness! Thank you for everything you two! For sharing and doing and being yourself! Greatings from Germany! And all the best!

A dark past makes for a bright future. Important part is remembering you can always get better. I had a pill/heroin addiction for 10 years and didn't think I'd be alive to see the day where that wasn't my life. Cleaned up, had a kid, found a good job, and got married. I wouldn't have ever believed someone if they told me 9-10 years later this would be my life. It's never too late to do anything.

Gaslighting to me is when the victim wants nothing to do with the argument and you continue the argument with no fuel but you make the fuel. Your past doesnt define who you are now Deese. Of course if you did somethin super crazy like murder, I can see how it would be a problem but if you're bigger than who you were then I see no issue. Everyday just strive to be better than who you were 24 hours ago. You guys have such a great relationship even with all the circumstances you guys been through. I hope that your future continues to thrive and be full of good health and prosperity 🤍🤍

I do think that the ability to easily get very heavy medication in the USA is part of the addiction problem. Pain medication addiction seems to be rampid with you guys. Here in Holland you really can't get anything easily without perscription and even with. Weed is easy here but heavy meds is a no-no. Kind of weird as well. Don't be concerned about the people who say you should do stand-up, or by those who say you shouldn't. Beware of those who advise you. The question of doing it for a living can only be answered by you and your audience. I have studied humour. Humour is not constrained by formulaic parameters. It is an art form. It is only limited by one's own ouevre and the audience to whom that appeals. Your humour is representational and the majority of people doing stand-up are presentational. That doesn't mean that you can't do it. You're amusing. You are both amusing. Your wife tolerates you, and loves you, and the two of you together are like George Burns and Gracie Allen. The way they did both their radio and TV show reminds me of the dynamic between the two of you. Gracie was a lot funnier, but together they were a good team. They played off each other. That's how I see the two of you. Your wife is funny, but the two of you play off each other very well. So don't worry about stand-up comedy. If it's meant to be it can happen but you can't force any audience to approve or appreciate you. Ask yourself. Do you want to perform in front of intoxicated people who judge you? Do you want your wife in that environment? Is it worth it? I don't mean monetary gain, I mean what truly matters. Bars are a very bad place filled with sad people and not a good environment for any decent man trying to raise a family. They are patronizing an unhealthy gestalt influenced by those who seek escape. 【panem et circencis】 It is vanity, futility and they are places filled with cheap laughter and effete vapid people who lead frivolous empty lives. You have a family. You two are very good together. It is not expedient or wise to leave the good and cling to the bad on the chance of better outcomes. It's like gambling to win money you shouldn't have spent in the first place. You're both on a good path, don't stray off that good path to choose the nebulous evil highway of sad lost people in taverns or tinseltown. Tinsel blows away when winds of hardship blow. Regarding the questions about China, Russia and the end of time? Time will end when God's Will decrees it. That will happen when the last person who was predestined to be saved has been saved. That's when Jesus Christ will return to Judge the living and the dead. God knows when that time is. All we sinners can do is pray for faith and forgiveness in Christ, repent, keep praying, worship with other true believers, stay in God's Word the Bible, be obedient to God's Will, and pray for the Grace of God to bless others with salvation as we bring His Truth to them. TRUTH IS THAT WHICH CORRESPONDS TO REALITY AS PERCEIVED BY GOD ALONE We cannot prepare for the End of Time! This world will end. We cannot choose God. We are dead in our sin that was imputed to us by Adam. What Christ did on the cross was suffer the Wrath of God for all the elect. Our sin was imputed to Him and His Righteousness was imputed to us on the Cross. That double imputation only happens if God chose us for salvation from before the foundation of the world. God hates sinners. All have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God. Belief on the Lord Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation. BUT That belief comes by Grace when God gives us Faith to believe. We cannot have that faith on our own. It is the Providence of God that gives faith to those who will be saved. Christ died for those whom He came to seek and to save. This salvation is not universal. It is God's Wrath that makes God's mercy so glorious. God is both immanent and transcendent. He is Just and Holy. We have no merit, we deserve death for our sin. But God chose to save some, that is Grace. The only way that Grace works is through Christ becoming sin for us and taking that Wrath we deserve upon Himself. This is the Passion Week culminating in Easter. Christ wasn't a victim or a martyr. He was sinless, fully God and fully man. He alone could pay the penalty we deserved for God's Justice demands death for man's rebellion against Him. We are born in sin, and every sin we commit adds to our guilt. There is none righteous, no not one. That was the purpose of the Cross. It was God's Wrath being poured out on Christ for all believers from Adam until the last person to be saved is saved. Jesus Christ took that Wrath upon Himself. He finished the work. Our works cannot save us. We have no righteousness. I'm glad you don't want to harass your wife anymore. She's a precious jewel.

Have you listened to Robin Williams? He talked about his battles with drugs and alcohol. He used his routine as a kind of therapy.
