I can now see how Satan separates me from my brothers and sisters and causes me to be separated from God over some trivial or inagined hurt. Thank you for this good lesson for me

you said when we are thinking of the one thing like stealing or else that is not a sin but on Matthew 5:21-22 [21]"You have heard that the ancients were told, 'You shall not commit murder' and 'Whoever commits murder shall be liable to the court.' [22]But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty before the court; and whoever says to his brother, 'You good-for-nothing,' shall be guilty before the supreme court; and whoever says, 'You fool,' shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell. and Matthew 5:27-28 [27]"You have heard that it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery'; [28]but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. thinking is sin.

A sinful thought that enters our minds for whatever reason is not a sin until we act on it. Thinking becomes sin when we entertain the thought of sin willingly. When we continue to desire what is forbidden sexually this becomes lust and the continued retained thought internally enjoyed becomes sinful even if we don’t physically interact with the object of our lust. However, the suggestion or temptation to sin internally only becomes sin when we agree and pursue internal sinfulness willingly. - MM

He brought both. He had a selfish heart and gave God the lame animals of this flock not the best, while Abel gave him the best of his harvest that is why God was pleased with Abel, and why God rejected Cain's offer. In tithing God wants the first cut. God doesn't change.

To clarify... Abel brought the animal and Cain the produce. - MM

A person remains safe from falling to temptation to sin when he exercises self-control, which is a spiritual fruIt of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). When exercising self-control (making our body obey our spirit and not our fleshly desires) is a normal part of our daily life we are less likely to suffer the trouble that comes as a result of giving in to sinful desires like pride, lust, revenge etc. - MM

I really enjoy and appreciate your videos... I do have a question about when sin becomes sin. As you were preaching about the timeline of sin, I was reminded of Matthew 5:28 that says, 'but I say anyone who looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart.' So while I can understand at the immediate thought of not giving the money back to the cashier might be temptation rather than sin, at some point there becomes a difference and our thoughts can become sin? Again, I'm NOT TROLLING, I'm sincerely asking...there are times when our thoughts alone are sin? Thanks.

Good point. I agree, there are many occasions where the thoughts themselves become sinful (I.e. jealousy, envy, resentment etc.) all things carried around in our thoughts. I do think, however, that if kept long enough as thoughts these things will often lead to sinful actions. Thanks for your input. - MM
