Me on my CBR 954rr and bill recording on a ride from the campsite to the lookout, had to cut a little bit off the video though, the length was too long.
I've got the 02 954 in the faster red paint scheme. This is probably one of the most comfortable sport bikes I've ever ridden. It does everything well and has looks that still gets attention over the newest bikes.
Very good pace for a Canyon. Always remember 60/40/70 60%skill level 40%lean angle 70%power That will keep you safe in the Mountains and you will have a better chance to recover if something were to happen.
Thanks for uploading your video. Read your comments and I hear what you're saying. Learning to ride with that aggressive style is a good thing, now I bet you temper it to suit the circumstance. It's just another tool in your box to use when needed. Keep riding safe and see you out there!
yess i agree with u man the fast ridding is fior the track and not worth it,track days make u faster and confident twistes is another thing, most guys they just like to show much in the canyons n they end up crashing soo like u said u can see the change b4 n now rigth ,,,,is becos the track,,,,whoever comment bad i wanna see them on the track n see what they can do there,,,,,
everything you just stated is true I lost several good friends running fast on the street and they use to tease me for going to slow (so they say) but they are no longer on this earth and they were good riders it was the other driver that cause their death along with the speed...but you are RIGHT...save the haul assing for the track....there are way to many dumb drivers to take the risk on the streets
@rouns22 yall were just too close to your limits trying to be fast instead of smooth. happens to all of us at one point or another. props on taking it to the track now
You do know that we actually DO have roads like this in California right? Most of them not nearly as over-patrolled as Deals Gap too. I'm out with my club almost every weekend on awesome roads.
How does the 954 handle? I have a 600 right now and it just doesn't have enough power! Does it handle like a heavier bike, or is it similar to the weight of a 600?
I don't understand what is wrong with this vid? You got it from start to finish in one piece. None of your bike ended up hanging from that tree of shame at the souvenir shop. I have the same bike and don't wear knee pads or drop knees, I just ride it, and guess what, I still have fucking fun. If others don't like it their more than welcome to pay my insurance, gas, vaca time etc. Either you had fun or you didn't right? That's all you ride for anyways.
