Dean Heckel singing "Cover Me Up" by Jason Isbell at the River City Winery in New Albany, IN on August 2nd 2014. Please like, share, comment, and subscribe! Thanks for watching =)
How, on God's green earth, could you carry on a conversation when something as awesome as this, is unfolding in front of you? I will never understand it. Well done sir!
It’s a dinner concert, they’re at a restaurant with tables and servers it appears. It’s a great performance and I’d be watching it but truth is He may not be why some of the people are there. There’s a summer concert series where I’m from with big name performers every year and everyone brings coolers and picnic baskets to listen to music, eat and drink. Not everyone’s priority is the music.
@@markmeehan3659 Respect isn't taught, it's learned. Someone gives it to you, and you reciprocate in kind. People who've never been given respect can't give it back. It's a culture problem.
dude this is perfect example of unexplored talent. this is why youtube is great. awesome tone and sounds so natural. keep rockin brother. but you should think about playing in other places besides your local bingo hall lol.
@@brianzaborowski2724 exactly. It seems so disrespectful when someone is putting on such a great performance and there is just so much background noise.
F**k...i believe I just found my most fav singer on youtube. This song is performed beautifully...it's amazing how some things so special can be passed by without notice.
Hahahahaa, true ... I saw that too. If you check FB, I think he still does gigs here and there, but I guess he just doesn't feel like uploading here anymore? I wish he would!
Found your stuff on here and wow......wow......amazing. Listened to everything so far and still come back again and again.... sure wish I could purchase your music as yours has its own soul. Bravo from Canada. !
The older people in the background Are the reason why people should still get married it's not so you can have a perfect life its so that you can have someone to hold and live a life with when you're old and gray and materialistic things don't matter and the reflection in the mirror is not one that you remember it's about holding hands with someone who doesn't care about any of that who just wants to stay in the moment because they've gone threw lives journey with you and made it to the ultimate goal which is growing old with Someone keeping your youthful Spirit Alive God bless them
Exceptional rendition. I adore this song but it has always felt so restrained to me when Isbell sings it, like a hard rock song trapped in a soft rock song. You pushed it a little further in that direction without going over the line. Imagine how great this would be if you didn't have terrible acoustics and a bunch of old people chattering away in the background!!
It shows a total lack of class for anybody to vote this performance down. Great voice and great playing. I have a Jason Isbell cover hater on my channel too.
I never heard this tune til now so I checked out Jason's version but still keep coming back here to listen to what I think sounds way better! You nailed this one, love it!
Same here! I went and checked out the original version too. never heard of Jason Isbell till now. I just found Dean on You Tube so that's 2 great finds in one day!
Yeah, Dean was a great find for me too. Too bad his channel is dead now after he got me hooked. I've been listening for quite some time now and he hasn't posted anything new for ages .... I wore out everything he has up already, lol.
