and mostly if Cas hadn't died in the aftermath of protecting Jack, I think. Making a child pay, even without being conscious of it, for the loss of a loved one they remind the one that stayed alive of, is something Dean was himself subjected to as a child, and it's easy to replicate

Made worse that Jack doesn't have close to the same power and Jack is literally supposed to be more powerful. Jesse was their scapegoat thou, they said if they ever wanted to suddenly end the show they could bring him back and finish everything

@@Jalbesbe i think Dabbs dint want jesse to potentially steal the spolight from alexander(jack) everyone knows he got to be on the show through nepotism. i think he questioned on one of the COns about it. i heard the jesse actors, years later was willing to come back as jesse, but that never came to fruition.

They do still molt when they shift usually. The one coming after the baby was an "alpha" aka one of the original shapeshifters, so it was able to just transform.
