That’s sorta what makes British food so special is the fusion with Indian food- there’s a lot of affordable food at like idk what you’d call them not like a pub? But like- yeah- old British pubs that are different now- they have a lot of great food- almost like the affordable diners in America- really cheap hearty huge servings of tasty food. You go in asking for fish and chips like back home think they’ll have something like that- they just laugh in your face like “get the fuck out of here. are you kidding? We’d have to have somewhere to get the fish from.” Then they bring you something different that’s objectively better than what you were expecting and you just weep into your weirdly named food.
I remember going to a pub and since I was the only American these British people had seen for at least 20 years the landlord has a lock in and we got rotten until 3am, then these two lads I met took me to an Indian restaurant and we had some of the best food I had in all of England . Funny how those English lads had chips with their curry and I had rice.
Love Deaner but he still smokes, old school and at least in this is carrying a bunch of weight. Honestly almost looks like some people that take meds like steroids which make you bloat. Really hope his health is ok, great musician and seems like a genuinely nice dude
