We saw Dean in San Antonio Texas USA last year. I got goosebumps then and I got them again watching this video. He didn't have the screen in back when we saw him, and he sang the whole song himself to a standing ovation. He's the best, imo. Different backing singers. His wife was one of them here in SA. I like the ones we saw better over the ones he has here. Still good though. Thanks for sharing this.
I'm finna blow you all mind about the Elvis impersonators running around the world. Let me tell you what makes a great Elvis impersonator because I am personate Elvis but I'm going to tell you what'll make you a great Elvis in person later. It's not been able to sing the songs that Elvis used to sing. Okay, you know that's a that's a given. You should know the songs that Elvis was singing. Can you sing somebody else's song but it sound like Elvis and make it sound the way that he would have made it sound. That's when you know you are a great Elvis in person later. No more talk. Y'all get it together!
And by the way this dude is pretty good. He need to just bring his voice up a little higher. His tone is low meaning it sound more baseful. He need to put a little bit more pitch in it and he'll be perfect and more flare on them words when he's saying it This is the expectation they're trying to reach. If you're trying to impersonate Elvis you want to do it all the way right? Put more flare on them. Words spike them words in certain parts of the song do Elvis proud. He would want you to take it further than what he's already done. Most of these shows that you look at. They be so dead. People walking around while the guy is singing. Nobody walked around while Elvis was singing. They were just captured. This is what these impersonators are missing and I'm not saying it's the bash him. I'm saying this so that if he reads this he grabs that and he runs with it. Stop singing like you're just reading the script. Embody this person that you're trying to sing like that you're trying to imitate embody every song. Man I don't care if you got to lock yourself in the car and it ain't but nothing but you listening to the song but you got to embody the song. If you don't then you're just sitting there like you're just reading the script or remembering your lines in the movie very badly This is why they have to have him playing in the background on the screen because they don't have what it takes to excite the crowd. The crowd ends up looking at the screen and not them. Lord have mercy. Why did I pass up opportunity to go to the industry? I would have showed them this. No one of this error has this technique or critique for singing that I'm talking about. You have to be born in the 70s or before the '70s. Anybody after that they don't have it. If you're born in the 80s, you don't have it '90s. You don't have it. You have to be born in the 70s or earlier
@@danelee4117 hey, I don't know if you know it, but they used to buddy around a lot and you already know by them. Being friends just use common sense. They're both great singers. Don't think that they didn't know each other could do each other's singing because they used to do each other's songs while they was hanging out. So I don't know if you know. Maybe you're not old enough to know I don't know But these two guys are basically the same. They are either one of them. Can do either one's song Elvis out of his own mouth said no one can sing like them. We all know what he meant by that but nobody's making a big deal out of that but I'm just saying out of his own mouth. He said that that's why I say. You know I've been thinking about what you said and you're right, there will only be one Elvis but these guys are so close. I would hate to live on the difference. I believe they knew it. That's why they used to hang around with each other and people will call Elvis the white Jackie Wilson and they will call Jackie Wilson the the black Elvis and then them having the same hairstyle the same look. We're in the same clothes. Popping up at places like that. Yeah them guys know what they were doing

Admit that there's no way they show up at nightclubs wearing the same outfit and it wasn't just at Jackie's show they would go out and be at nightclubs and show up dressed alike come on man. Stop playing that you already know. I must know the truth or I wouldn't even be saying I'm not a person like these people of the world. I don't pride myself on telling lies Plus I got to actually meet some of the guys that was in Elvis's Entourage yeah they actually came to Belleville Illinois and ate at Papa Vito's. Well I would say the children of Elvis's entourage their children came and they was telling me about it. I would take the word of the children that was hanging with Elvis and seen these things before. I would believe anybody. I will believe the people that used to hang with Elvis and the children that saw it with their own eyes
