Matt Ryan, you were my quarterback. I watched every game that you played in a falcon uniform one way or another whether it was highlights or paying for pass and I appreciate everything you brought us as a franchise you for everything that you gave us.

Same here! He qa under appreciated and countless times over delivered! We were spoiled for 14 years, and ironically as I type this the hair band Cinderella song DONT KNOWNWJAT YA GOT UNTIL ITS GONE is playing on the radio.....that is sadly how Matt's tenure was viewed and handled by many that would never openly admit it. Most luck warm fans didn't know what we jad in Matt Ryan bc they were too busy trying to run him outta town bc of their Vick hangover syndrome! Matt gave us the most sustained success EVER in franchise history and came within a hair of winning us a Super Bowl (thank DQ for that debacle). Matt will be missed as a player, a leader and our QB, but his legacy WILL BE THE STANDARD for future Falcons QBs, and until someone wins us a Super Bowl, Matt will always be the GOAT as the Falcons QBs!

Matt, my son's first Falcons football game was October 2008 when you beat the Chicago Bears with 11 seconds left. My son had a choice: to meet some of the Falcons players or watch the rest of the game....He told me "I'm not going to miss this game, Matt's got this!" That 16 year old kid is now 33 and you've been his favorite QB ever since. Thank you, Matt, we love you ❤️🖤❤️🖤

This definitely got me all in my feelings. Ryan was my QB from me being a kid all the way to adulthood. Met him once, super super nice guy. Gave me 7 or 8 minutes of his time and was the best QB all time for my team. Shows how much life really isnt fair. After 2016, i thought the team would be back and Ryan would get one before he retired, and never did. You deserved a ring, team and mostly the OC robbed you of your greatness being evaluated to another level. Thank you Matt for everything you have done for the Falcons, all the great moments you have given me and my son throughout the years and for everything you did for the city of Atlanta. Much appreciated from me!

I told myself I would never go to a Falcons game without taking my dad. In 2019 I bought us tickets to see y’all play the Saints. It was my last moment with my dad before he tragically passed away unexpectedly. It was a pleasure seeing my favorite football player on the field and unknowingly cherishing those last moments with my father. So thank you. I actually supported Matt Ryan on the Falcons. He made the most of his situation and despite the challenges excelled in the position better than most who have ever played the game. People don’t give him the respect he has deserved for the last decade and a half. He resurrected a fan base and city and instilled a winning culture we have yet to recapture. He made careers for Mike Smith, Dan Quinn, Julio Jones, and Kyle Shanahan. A detail people tend to gloss over
