I wear my twists with beads I get even more stares with my Afro blown out. (I get stared at even with my headscarf on, either way…) ALL Blackness is beautiful and unique 🥰🤘
Yesss let's spread the message! ✔️ 7:30 THANK YOU for saying this. It is very 1gnorant to say all blk women have big features and if it's not big you aren't blk. NA I'm FBA and me and my mom have small features. I'm very black So in my video . I put women with small features because that does not take away from their blk-ness I love your video!!
Omg thank you so much for your comment! I love your channel and always get excited when you post! People really need to realise that black women can have small features! Same me and my mom also have small features and constantly get mistaken for a different ethnicity, but we’re very much Nigerian, west African! Blackness is more than just broad features, clock that tea!
Hope this channel gets bigger and more recognition because these black empowerment channels that keep reminding us that colorism still exists and that "mixed " or "light skin" girls are preferences or will always have a leg up in society are kinda draining. But I do understand that they're not trying to cultivate negativity intentionally and that they're just trying to remind the girlies how unfair the world its just that it gets exhausting when its spoken about a little to often.
Agreed their should be a balance of BOTH! Like “hey remember your still a minority your at a disadvantage” but also “hey your a minority in a western society your features/skin is one of the rarest parts about you which makes you beautiful and mysterious amongst the massive” 🥰.
"I'm staying true to my beauty" "owning your beauty". These are profound words. If more dark skin women would do that, more people would see that and celebrate that. When you own your beauty, you tend to do things that will enhance it. When dark women are insecure about their skin color, people also see that. It's confidence and beauty that makes a woman stand out.
@@sheritownsend5359 Wow, you truly are preaching right here! Thank you for your insightful comment, we truly need to encourage each other to own our beauty!
I have noticed so many stares this week I know that dress well, but that well I didn't know . Also, combined with my natural hair, a perfect combo✨️ But I don't really think I have pretty privilege .
You know what young woman one day soon in the future you’re gonna find out with all the rest of us older black women know you don’t have to go out of your way to pronounce your blackness to the world or except other peoples opinions of you. When you get to the point where you’re comfortable in your skin, you don’t worry about oh I must wear my natural hair or let my natural features show. You just be whoever you are and adoring yourself however you want and your black beauty comes through no matter what
