It's a fantastic song, but the suggestion that its the most beautiful solo known to mankind us nothing but utter festering loads of idiotic and blatantly untrue utter BS Countless solos of countless types are significantly more beautiful in every possible aspect, and while it may be one of the best in theater history It's not even remotely the best in general or even within that genre. And that's a fact, proving you're just an ignorant, tasteless 💩 stain that doesn't know the first damn thing about quality solos. I don't know they they don't sell professionally filmed copies of Broadway shows once they close. I get why they don't do it for shows still in production....but so many shows close and then no one can see them live anymore. Having the Broadway show for Newsies be filmed and put on Netflix/sold digitally was a special treat from Disney, but I've NEVER heard of that happening for other musicals, though they did a special 25th anniversary Netflix streaming of Phantom of the Opera (which has the best performances of all time). They are making a movie musical of Wicked, but we will never get to see the live performance of the Broadway musical on DVD, Netflix, etc. Movie theaters understand audiences....but musical theater productions simply don't.

You can buy staged musicals legally. Memphis, Shrek, Sweeney Todd, Into the Woods... these were all staged versions recorded.

ejay reyes but do you see how he walks offstage?? he angrily steps around evan while shoving his satchel to his side and pushing his hands in his pockets. THEN he sprints offstage. you can clearly see that he’s mad or upset about something (some other people say he actually waved at evan before that) and it makes me so sad holy shoot.

I'm still mad come from away didn't do better. I can understand having seen both shows why DEH won best score - the music just washes over you when you see it live - but in my opinion Come From Away should have won best score. I'm glad it won best direction though.

i saw deh, great comet and come from away on my recent trip and I don't understand how either of the latter two didn't win it
