An instrumental track of "Dear Friend" from She Loves Me, music written by Jerry Bock, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick, book by Joe Masteroff. Hal Prince directed the original production, which starred Barbara Cook, Daniel Massey, Barbara Baxley, and Jack Cassidy. The music was orchestrated by Don Walker.
This track includes the introductory verse to the song, cut from the original Broadway production but reinstated in the 1993 revival and used in subsequent productions. Additionally, Amalia is given four measures of intro here before "Charming, romantic, the perfect cafe...", as opposed to the usual two.
