Well, her image hasn’t changed in the near decade since she professed Christianity. After almost 10 years, it’s safe to pass righteous judgment. She’s preaching the new age message and that hurts my heart for her, her family, and all those who follow her. We can’t cheat on God throughout the week and give Him lip service on Sunday. I’m disappointed in both artists, but I really just hope they dive deeper into the word and allow God to turn up the heat on the parts of them that are lukewarm. This is a message of love. I myself am not perfect and have to keep myself in check. If we love each other, we hold each other accountable.

Sometimes my prayers, my thanks, don't feel right to others, but they are mine and God says even when I don't know how to pray, the Holy Spirit takes over with mournings and groanings. This is hers. And it's definitely better than moanings and groanings, which are also perfect coz the are Holy Spirit led. I can't comment on someone's praise to God. I had high hopes for the song too, I think her verse was pretty surface level. If her secular fan base were to listen to the song her part doesn’t really point anyone back to Jesus. This just reassures them “God loves you, and pray when you need him” so likely stuff they may have already heard before. Usually what’s missing is the need for redemption/repentance along with His love, the full gospel. I think there could’ve been just a little more depth.
