Islam has been a part of the American landscape since the beginning. I remember when I was a kid and that beautiful mosque was built in my hometown of Toledo, OH. No one protested, it was no different from a Jewish community building a new synagogue or a Christian community building a new cathedral! Everyone was part of the community, so what changed?! Extremists began campaigns of terror and violence in the name of God. Just like the IRA and ULA in Northern Ireland, Mohammed's campaigns across the Middle East, North Africa, and southwestern Europe, and the Crusades. The folks in Dearborn have been there for several generations as many came over in the past 70 yrs. to work in Detroits robust auto industry. The Lebanese and other M.E. We knew families who lived there back in the 50s & 60s and never felt like these Arabs were any less American than us. Our Arabs neighbor did basically everything we did.Sadly todays Muslim transfers are indoctrinated in their hate filled radical Sharia culture and want the Americans to assimilate to their culture rather they to ours.

To make things crystal clear for anyone reading this: the white people creating problems are almost never actually from this city, but rather from several xenophobic low-information suburbs south of here as well as west (I'm looking at you, Garden City MI) and as far as out of State. They come to Dearborn to cause trouble, simply because they have fallen for Fox News lies peddled as "fact". Regarding Dearborn itself: at 93,212 people, Dearborn is Michigan's 7th largest city, and of course, the headquarters of Ford Motor Company - one of the nation's largest employers. As well as having a notable Middle-Eastern immigrant population a small African American population, an even smaller Latino population, an even smaller-still Asian population, it is predominantly people of white European descent. Well, guess what? - that white European-descent majority are very much at home with their Muslim & Lebanese Catholic neighbors, as they grew up with them as their friends, schoolmates, and co-workers. Dearborn is quite proud of what our Middle-Eastern immigrant neighbors have contributed to the city. Dearborn has numerous events celebrating all of this and more, has the best Middle-Eastern food in the US (sorry other cities, but Dearborn has been refining original ME cuisine for at least 80 years longer than your paltry efforts), by far the greatest libraries in metro-Detroit, and nightlife that is second only to Detroit in Wayne County. What kind of town is this? - This is the sort of town where the First United Methodist Church has proudly displayed a gigantic rainbow flag for at least 8 months right out front in support of our LGBTQ+ community for all to see - and locals love it. This is the sort of town that has consistently voted left-wing in every election for just about every political position available for years. The sort of town that has annual gatherings between Christian, Jewish, and Muslim leaders to strengthen common ties and to offer joint statements on important issues. The sort of town that has the largest Women's Expo in the State (a massive gathering for female business owners to gather, network, strengthen, and purchase from one other - and it's not just white women). And all of this is just the start. Lastly, there is no "Dearborn University" as you call it - what you refer to is "The University of Michigan-Dearborn" - the only other branch of the highest-ranked public university on EARTH (source: QS World University Rankings for 2018-19).

If non-moslems want to infiltrate and subvert moslem countries, they would go in as "moderates" and would work and live within the culture and society of that moslem country. But in order to live and work there, they would be required and forced to attend prayers with moslems, and would be forced to wear the same clothing and head coverings etc. Then, if they mentioned they were not moslems, they would be imprisoned, or persecuted, possibly maimed, possibly killed, possibly stoned to death. In our country, we find out that someone is moslem, and we welcome them, we learn more about their beliefs and we let them work and live here peaceably. Then, as the moslems gain political power, get jobs in the bureaucracy, police and military, they subvert more and more of the political power to the moslem system. Then, they begin to persecute non-moslems more and more. The moslems also teach in the schools, they spread their filthy ideology in our public schools and universities, they support all anti-Israel boycotts and call the USA the "Great Satan" and Israel the "Little Satan." The goal of the moslems is not to simply infiltrate, not to simply fit in and live and work here, but rather, as the koran teaches, their goal is to destroy all other systems of thought and belief so that islam is dominant all over the world. This is intolerable in a multi-ethnic society in which people would be able to live and work harmoniously together. Islam is the opposite of human rights and freedoms. Islam is totalitarianism. It doesn't tolerate other belief systems and it is programmed to destroy the US Constitution and Bill of Rights, no matter how kind, nice and gentle individual moslems may seem to be or actually are.
