I didn't even know who Christina Grimmie was before she died, but, the more of her videos I see, the more I feel obligated to be a better person to compensate for all the good that was taken from the world.

I have really bad social anxiety disorder. The majority of my anxiety comes from worrying about what people think about me if I do something wrong or different from them. I always just wanted to be like everyone else instead of myself. Thank you Christina Grimmie for helping realize it's not about how others see me, but how I see myself. You will never know how much these words of encouragement truly mean to me. Just hearing someone tell me it does not matter what others think or say about me, feels like a huge weight is taken off my shoulders and I can finally breathe.
I say be proud of being different. If you try to be someone else, then who is Bobby Brake (I hope that's your name)? Sometimes, take a risk. I took a risk by talking to one of the "cooler" kids about what I like. Turns out, he's a huge comic nerd too! You never know unit you try. I don't have a social anxiety disorder, but I'm sure that you can conquer it! It's the kids that no one really pay attention to that end up at the top :)
Hey man! Never let other people's invalid opinions cause you any pain(: Some people are just flat out mean... I find myself caught up in how I look a lot too, but every now and then I'm reminded by someone (Christina this time:) ;"why do I really care?" You can be your own judge.. Don't let em' bring you down though! Be the better man!
Try to concentrate on what do YOU think about people! Find their flaws, feel how vulnerable they are. This way, you would know that you can retaliate if you've been "attacked". When you have this knowledge, you would feel more comfortable and secure around people. Fear of unknown is where social anxiety comes from.
I agree with Anthony. The best way to counter bullies to to NOT retaliate. Bullies just want a reaction or to know that they caused you pain. "The best revenge is to not become like the one who harmed you."
I remember watching this and crying my eyes out. You were such a light in my life. 11 year old me found such solace in your videos when I was the "quiet one" who didn't fit in at school. You helped me stay true to myself and inspired me to upload videos to RU-vid and share my love for singing. That was my escape and where I felt I belonged. You still are are light in my life and I will forever miss you. I know we'll meet one day, see u on the other side love❤️
I checked your video for Christina. You have an amazing voice with great talent. Don't let others bring you down in school. Being quiet is sometimes the best way to go and those who would tell you that you wouldn't fit in school and would get bothered by you just being quiet are the people that won't achieve greatness and happiness in their life. Just like Christina said it's ok to be weird and differend, it would suck if we were all the same anyways. So don't be afraid to live your life the way you want to and don't be afraid to speak out. Shame aka. fear is just in your head and it happens just because it wants to protect you from doing something wrong. But sometimes you have to do some things wrong in order to finally find a way to do them right and that's how you should see life. You only live once so use it and don't hold back on things, and specially don't do the way others want you to do it, but do it the way you would want to do it. Be the leader not the follower. She lived to the fullest and I think the best favor you can do for her now is to continue the way she was living. 2021 & still watching Christina’s videos. Sometimes when I am depressed I can’t even look at pictures of her or listen. Does anyone else have that problem? I feel guilty when that occurs but I have to do what I can to get the sadness to back off so that I can look and listen again ☺️💚💚😇😇
It’s normal to feel that way when it comes to people who are no longer with us. It stings whenever we see recordings or pictures of them smiling, and there is a reminder that something may have happened to them. It’s part of the grieving process. Sometimes I find myself feeling sad looking at Christina’s videos of her singing and thinking about what could have become of her. Some days you’ll have some good days and some days you’ll have some not so good. Every day will get better, but I bet I can speak for all of Team Grimmie when I say that we will all miss her dearly 💚

You know, the first time I saw this I felt like she wasn't just doing this for her benefit but for us as well. When I look back on this video, which wasn't that long ago I say to myself, "She is speaking to all of her frands." Christina is always open for being criticised, because critic is a very strong way to question where you're going as an artist. But you'll pretty surely agree that critic is only useful when it is accompanied by constructive ideas, by an advice that is useful for Christina. So I'd be glad if you Tell Christina (maybe in a private Message, maybe as a response to this comment) why you don't respect her as an artist. What I'm wondering: Is it the texts sie's writing? Is it the much too adorable and stunning voice? ;) no seriously, I'm interested why you don't respect her as an Artist and why you didn't Seem to find it neccessary to add Arguments to your opinion. Matthias Kranixfeld It's more about how she stopped uploading when she began gaining more fame and popularity. I still love her voice but I wish that the fame/popularity didn't cancel out the weekly covers she used to do. Fortunately it seems she's uploading more often again.
