I think Death Angel's modern albums (since 2008ish) are miles ahead of their 80s albums. They sound much heavier and darker. Not to mention Mark's vocals sound more aggressive overall. An incredible band that keeps improving the older they get!

Apart from the melodic and thunderous guitar work of the band, Mark Osegueda is really something when it comes to vocals. I'm cursing myself for not realizing this man's voice back when I was growing up; it doesn't matter if it is an angry and fast song like this or if it is a slow and acoustic song like Veil of Deception; he always brings it and nails it. Death Angel was just one of those thrash bands with some decent songs for me, but the last couple of years completely changed that. Mark did some very good job with Metal Allegiance too by the way.

Between that wonderful opening cry, the guitar at 2:08, the fantastic part from 3:28 to 4:22 and the bass kickin in around 4:32 this song is just a perfect opening ! Glad I saw them this year for their tour with Exodus and Testament, it was nuts !

Holy Hell, I was on my way to work and got the ALERT, saw the Title and just knew i was in for an Ultra-Violent Sonic Beatdown but this Voracious Act went beyond a Frolic that Calls For Blood in the Art of Dying it had Fallen From Grace across the Evil Divide that assaulted sound with a Relentless Retribution and took me to the Darkness that lives inside 2019 enter the Age of Humanicide.
