We all know that aizen was suppose to win. They ain’t even use his manga form but mentioned it when they explained they powers. They used a weaker version of aizen against a full power madara

They failed to mention so many Aizen feats and downplayed his feats as well , just the fact that he causally destroyed the Cleaner , which is literally an endless dimension on its own , is baffling. But whatever deathbattle is bias so i didn't expect much. Overall it was aight

Lmao the moment aizen pulled out his zanpakto...the fight was over...the idea is absolute hypnosis there is no escaping no matter what you can do. He doesnt even have to say its name to put you under it. And if you read the manga you know he put someone under its control that has abilities far beyond what the rinnegan/sharigan could ever do.

This death battle was so bad scaling wise for aizen and even the analysis was so bad they laterally said rukia is a leading member of soul society lol, can't even take them seriously after that and a lot of misinformation. Madara scaling and analysis was good tho he could still be upscale depending on the person debating him. Also Aizen should have won that lol.

Probably the biggest thing Death Battle got wrong is the fact that Aizen's Kyouka Suigetu is NOT AN ILLUSION. it's complete hypnosis of ALL senses, not just the eyes. Not to mention the fact that both Aizen and Madara were heavily underscaled, Plus the Soul Society even stated that it's impossible for Aizen to die due to the power of the Hyogoku. Overall, despite claiming to have done "extensive research", they got a lot of things wrong on both sides.

I do love that they both enjoyed a glorious battle

Bro they got so much wrong about Aizen. Saying that he only uses perfect hypnosis once, when it’s literally ALWAYS happening. You are always under its effects. That’s the entire reason that it had to be Ichigo who fought him, because everyone else had already seen his shikai when he showed it to them. And they didn’t even use his TYBW form despite mentioning it.

Honestly, I find it adorable that anyone believed Aizen had a chance.

Aizens hogyoku allowed him to heal and adapt to any attack then become immune to it so therefore the orbs would have no effect

Aizen is actually galaxy++ level in the manga. If they were scaling off Aizen anime and manga, fight would be over before it started.

Aizen hypnosis is perfect and cannot be broken and by looking at aizen your already under his hypnosis and aizen has devastating power and don’t forget spiritual pressure which is honestly unfair for madara. In my opinion I think death battle is biased when it comes to bleach

The only reason people think Aizens hypnosis is hot shit is because no one in bleach can resist it, no one in bleach has shown any kind of resistance to illusions so ofc kyoka always works on everyone in the cast. "but what about Ywachs almighty?" Ywachs almighty is the ability to perceive every timeline, really OP but it doesnt matter if you can see every possibility if someone comes along and hijacks your brain and controls what you can see in the first place, Kyoka was a perfect counter to almighty, ANY illusion or mind control would be because it circumvents the ability entirely. Put someone like itatchi in bleach and he walks through the whole cast cause they have no illusionary resistance. "the sharingan only deals with optical illusions, kyoka controls the 5 senses" wrong, tsyukoyomi controls all 5 senses AND your perception of time and space, it literally mentally puts you in another dimension and can make you experience entire lifetimes in under a second ...the sharingan broke out of it and knit reality back together for sasuke. The best time feat kyoka has is making someone lose track of time by putting them in a trance. There really is no comparison, the sharingan has been shown to beat things on a greater scale than kyoka, yet kyoka has never encountered anyone with mental resistance let alone someone with an ability like the sharingan that SPECIFICALLY breaks out of illusions and mind control. "sharingan based illusions wouldnt work on aizen cause of chakra networks" Jirayas explanation of genjutsu was instantly proven to not apply to sharingan based illusions after it was given in the show, people always leave that out lol. Naruto tried turning off his chakra network around his brain and it didnt work against itatchi and he wasnt even using tsykoyomi . On top of that, spirits without chakra networks have been shown to fall under sharingan genjutsu (the tailed beasts) and thats exactly what aizen is. in terms of illusions, hypnosis and resistance to. its not even close. Madara counters perfectly. This says nothing for the other aspects of the fight though

Tbh i think they misunderstood the sharingans power😂 let's just say sharingans can see everything in slow motion but how tf can he see aizens zanpakutos abilities 🤦 it's not even a jutsu🤦i think y'all know the reason why madara didn't really won on this match 😂

I like how they said that Madara's sharingan can break out of illusions, but kyoka suigetsu isn't an illusion, it's total hypnosis. Illusion: makes you perceive things in a different way. Hypnosis: affects the way you perceive things. Hypnosis is basically a state of being. Not to mention that Aizen was able to fool a guy that can see future timelines. Edit: Basically hypnosis has complete control over you and illusions just make you trip balls.

This battle has my favorite soundtrack in Death Battle "Hollow Dreams".

I think when they added kaguya as the big bad instead of Madara to give a sense irony, Madara was using ninjas as pawns like obito but little did he know he was a pawn himself. Also it added depth to the story showing the origin of chakra.

This death battle was not researched well. Madara may throw planets but Aizen can change the perceived reality on a whim of kyoka suigetsu, literal can't die, among many other things. Hes fricken god Aizen. He evolved to be unbeatable.

I don't know about this fight, I think they did Aizen so dirty cuz they skip his transformation so fast and the fight was short. Like the fact that they completely ignore spiritual pressure and how Madara would probably just disintegrate once Aizen gets to his full power, since it doesn’t matter how strong you are, it’s the gap in that spiritual pressure that will do that, not only that but to assume Aizens Hypnosis is the same as genjutsu is a stretch but even if you did wouldn’t then Madara have to constantly break out of the hypnosis, they bring up Unohana seeing through it but that’s cause Aizen was literally explaining how his shit worked like he did it on purpose. Idk I don’t take these seriously but it’s the fact that people take this as fact in like nah man not at all

Basically Madra used ultimate filler no jutsu.

Kishimoto (author of Naruto) originally plan to end Naruto after the battle with Pain (Akatsuki). But the editor (aka publishing company aka Shounen Jump) was like : "No! your manga is popular! keep going!" , so he's "forced" to continue the story with some changes from his original plan, featuring Madara and was planning to let Naruto and Sasuke beat him... but then again the editor said "No! Continue!", so he had to buff up Madara to keep it continue. ... it keeps going like that until Madara is too strong to beat... so he had to introduce Kaguya which also opens up the plot for Boruto later on. And thanks to that editor, Kishimoto had to postpone his honeymoon for a decade!

This is basically one of the reasons why I stopped watching Death Battle. The absolute bias is absurd. Even more so this misinterpretation of Aizen’s zanpaktou abilities.

Madara wouldn't be able to counter Kyokasuigetsu with the Sharingan, because Kyokasuigetsu doesn't have anything to do with chakra. He also wouldn't be able to absorb any Kido spells, cuz that's not chakra.

I love the animation but they missed out so much about Aizen. Like the fact he still has th ehogyoku and can never die.... The fact that they had him evolving in battle but still say he has no hogyoku makes no sense. I love madara and I love aizen but the fact that they even thought putting an immortal god up against madara is beyond my belief and the fact madara won due to breaking out of "PERFECT HYPNOSIS" and having attacks that can destroy your soul so you can't regenerate (Aizen literally is a soul and regenerates all the time) is beyond my belief.
