Ya know, seeing as how this battle plays out and the noticeable edge Excalibar has over Raiden. It makes sense that this sounds more like a MGR track and less than any track in Warframe. This feels more like if Raiden was a secret boss battle, and honestly I like that idea more than a mix of the respective game’s themes.
i liked the death batlle, personally i thinks it makes sense how raiden was defeated so even if i am a raiden fan im not going to complain. just happy to see him fight again
The song is hinting towards Raiden's victory yet they could be jebaiting us. Like the song ends and Raiden sheathes his sword, then the operator leaves Excal and stuns him warps back and ends him with Exalted blade.
@@bipolareagle8892 Raiden loses hard. It's not even funny. I love Raiden and MGS/MGSRR a lot but Warframe is essentially more magic centered which Raiden has no counter to. Along with Excalibur's blade being a blade of light.
Let's rep Raiden's colors on Excalibur / Ex. Prime / Ex. Umbra out of respect for this death battle , he put up a damn good fight against him eitherway.
@@AgentRoadblock alright imma go customize my nikana prime to be a red blade and take the sheath on back ((i already had a nidus prime with the technocyst skin (prime detail enabled) to make Sam XD ))
Daily reminder that All main line quest in warframe are built with Excalibur in mind (has he one of the 3 starter frame) and all feat accomplished during that can be counted as his this include : surviving the sun for a long prolongated fight with ballas, Dispatching literal army's/ being able to choke and move Ropalolyst around/ Removing the core of one of the orb mother and decapitating her bare handed/ is body is made of Infested nanomachine which reproduce it self, and all warframe/tenno are more Skilled than any Dax which can be scaled to Jet streamsam.
Also don't forget fighting sentients both on Lua, Earth, and New War, halt the void song from turning remaining crew of holdfasts into void angels, defeating the kuva lich / sister of parvos via requiem mods, Stopping every threat in their "Operation" type of event.
That sun bit caught me off guard when i experienced it - we were literally so close to the sun that the heat was melting through the shields and hulls of proper starships from the Sentinet's side and our frames, Ballas, and the Lotus were just chillin, shields didnt even care - and its far from just gameplay because if you switch to operator/drifter you start to burn up
Well, Warframe does not have epic electric rock metal music in the list of sountracks, but it has orchestral songs that have been the flagship on most of the updates. Besides the soundtracks, the developers gave the players some music instrument content that gives us the ability to create music.
@@ledeltaorokin6114 Well, there's just a little metal guitar in Cambrion Drift gameplay, but it's just out there like a pinch of cinnamon, only for flavour.
After the fight Ordis : Operator, you have messages in your inbox, I wonder what they say. Excalibur opens the Inbox Lotus : My child, you have overcome a difficult challenge before you today, this opponent had a most unusual weapon, I have managed to create a blueprint of this sword, it is not exactly the same but it is as close as I could get, please craft this weapon and continue to bring peace to the origin system. Obtained 1 Murasama blueprint.
@@carrotcake6088 sorry but no just the desk of death battle coming back, may have to wait a few months for death battle to come back Edit: I just learn that the next time in September is John wick vs James bond The bogeyman vs 007
@@e.j5813 please tell me this I a joke, Raiden had no chance against Excalibur, and Excalibur from what I heard was downplay, and be glad I was just base Excalibur cause they was going to use Excalibur Umbra, a way stronger Excalibur
I'm Getting Multiple Feels of Different Musics/ Scores in this One: Examples: *Reverse Rose* (Death Battle: Goku Black vs Reverse Flash), *Blood Moon* (Death Battle: Sabrewulf vs Jon Talbain), *My Demons* (Starset) *Resident Rising* (Death Battle: Leon Kennedy vs Frank West )
raiden has already gotten two death battles and one dbx so next time they do mg death battle it has to be jetstream sam i mean he's the one who gave raiden the murasama blade and they can do some cool things with a jetstream sam death battle like have his taunts that he uses in his dlc, have him say lets dance in the beginning of the death battle and last but not least his sword sheath gun power up ability that he used to cut off raiden and senator is scottish in real life nanomachine ivy league college ball armstrong that was a long paragraph.
Something I noticed, though that might just be me, is that in the chorus, the vocals follow a bit of Warframe's leitmotif in This Is What You Are/Abandoned
(The way of the blade) (Feel the weight of your every mistake) (I’ve walked this path of violence from cradle to grave) This life born into chaos, could say i was made for the fight. This war never ends! The way of the blade! I’ve walked this path of violence from cradle to grave! This fight The war I’ve raged against fate ever since i came alive Hear the sirens in my brain (Every fiber is signaling pain!) Forged in fire, forged in flames (All impurities melted away!) Feel the clash of bone and sinew Always feeding the monster within you Am i man or machine or something in between? Can’t ever change or give in to this anger. I’ll keep defying these Rules of Nature! The way of the blade! Feel the weight of your every mistake! I walked this path of violence from cradle to grave! Hear the sirens in my brain (Every fiber is signaling pain!) Forged in fire, forged in flames (All impurities melted away!) This war never ends! Feel the clash of bone and sinew as it feeds the monster in you Can’t ever change or give in to this anger I’ll keep defying these Rules of Nature!
I feel like Stalker showing up out of nowhere in the middle of the fight would have made the fight better like how Leon and Frank where fighting each other while also fighting zombies.
Or it could be something like enemy cyborgs ambushing Raiden during their rooftop shootout, Excalibur meanwhile getting a message from a syndicate he's currently enemies with and they send in their respective hit squad to kill him. Both fighters ambushed, they briefly pause their fight and go after each other's enemies, Excal fighting Raiden's cyborg attackers and vice versa They resume the fight afterwards, but it would still be cool to see Raiden cutting down say the infested charger units from Red Veil
Did you notice that there were hints of his theme when he fought Wolverine in this Death Battle ? It's even sung the same way, just tweaked. Raiden VS Wolverine: This war is all I have Raiden VS Excalibur: This war never ends
Although I believe therewolf did just say who the winner is due to the track like how he does it with the other tracks he done the most important thing is this song is amazing and from what I've seen from the sneak peek this is going to be one great episode I don't care who wins the track already won my heart
I'm still skeptical on who would win since they did show a calculation in Raidens pre video analysis, wich is usually a sign that said character takes the L. But I agree this track is awesome.
@@emoji_sus602 And Rooster teeth has a hold on death battle yet Weiss lost just because it is a sponsor that doesn't mean Excalibur is going to win the only reason why this fight is the bonus episode is because it was sponsored and the people at warframe most likely had one request do an episode for one of their characters so you don't have to give up easily because it a sponsored episode
Except for the fact that not many people know much about Warframe lore and just think that it's all about "Uh ninja looking alien guys shooting and slicing stuff up while collecting shittons of loot"
@@valentaire idk man...I'm on the fence. It could go either way. Just depends on if they use the operator. I'm cool with either character being the winner honestly.
The reason Raiden lost is because he was never meant to, they couldn't make one character win exclusively because of the sponsorship so they just gave him an opponent he could never beat to begin with so there is plausible deniability. Still an incredible fight at least.
People sigh... Raiden would still lose hard even if warframe did not sponsor the vid It isn't the 1st 2nd or 3rd time db did a onesided matchup lol Thor vs raiden Dr.Doom vs lex Omniman vs homelander Storm vs korra Spiderman(parker) vs batman(bruce) Flash vs quicksilver Bobba fett vs samus Popeye vs saitama Ghost rider vs lobo The mask vs deadpool All those and more were onesided this one is the same and WOULD STILL BE even if they had a different sponsor for the episode
@Courier Blazblue is a fighting game like mortal kombat, one of the characters called Ragna fits the description you mentioned perfectly, also he looks like Dante and has a sibling who is like Vergil but more... crazy. One game did have a crossover with 3 other games. (Well 2 games and a rooster teeth show)
Actually Vergil could maybe beat a Warframe but of course the chances are not in Vergil's favour. The demons in DMC I'm pretty sure are a lot weaker. Plus Excalibur still has self revives so that should be noted. Still Vergil is easily stronger than Raiden so it wouldn't be a guaranteed loss. Overall I would love to see that.
It got Warframe on more people’s radars, it promotes TennoCon, it’s freaking Excalibur Plenty of reason for Warframe sponsoring the episode despite him possibly losing
...Just because it was a sponsored fight, doesn't mean it has ANYTHING to do with the research they put up... ...and even if it wasn't sponsored, Excalibur would still defeat Raiden more times than not...
@E.J Let's see, Excalibur is Stronger, Excalibur has more weapons, Excalibur has better weapons, Excalibur is insanely skilled and just about equal to Sam, Excalibur has more durability, Excalibur is faster, Excalibur has a direct counter to the HF Blade (Glaxion), Excalibur has defeated stronger foes, Excalibur can use the archwing giving him flight, Excalibur can blind opponents at will, Excalibur can use the Exalted Blade to cut through just about anything and Excalibur can withstand the heat of the sun. Go on, what has Raiden got that gives him an advantage oh wait, he has nothing.
@NightCrawler In gameplay yes but lore is often very different than the actual gameplay and we have no solid evidence Warframes can only carry 3 weapons. Plus the tenno arsenal is undeniably of higher quality than Raidens.
