@@joelyates2404 we have a very selective memory. When it comes to our history and it is ugly, we want to avoid at all costs talking about it. Just look how African American history since slavery or indigenous people history in the U.S is very hard to teach in history classes in our education system
@@arighteousname5882 Are you talking the whole planet or just the Middle East. I suppose I should have said in the Middle East. It is not a moderate hot spot for sure. Then again much has to do with tolerance. And there has been a world shortage recently.
Nadje Al-Ali should write a book on how the Proxy War in Ukraine is just the latest U.S. disaster like Iraq. Will we ever learn? I won't hold my breath.
In all fairness it's not really a disaster for the U.S. NATO and the west are selling and giving arms to Ukraine while simultaneously bleeding Russia out financially and militarily without risking American lives.
@@drmodestoesq Wake up and pull your head out. Russia is fighting the United Corporations of America. Ukraine is just another chance for the UCOA to beat up on Russia. Wait till these morons bite into China!
Yeah that was a call Buddy Israeli massage who have infiltrated the United States of American people government so Bush was only a puppet that was some Israeli BS and dumb Americans fell for it
May Allah bless all the Iraqis who defended their land against American Invaders and May Allah bless all the Afghans who managed to remove the Americans from their homeland.
It is the poor, poor women and children of these countries, especially Afghanistan I feel utterly wishing they can have some sort of a decent future. Seems they are literally being treated not as just chattels but nothingness. Wipe them out of existence. Very telling about the male sentiment. That country is not a place I would want to step into at all.
I'm probably going to catch some flak for this but as someone who fought in Iraq fro most of my 20's the U.S. should have never invaded Iraq. Iraqis and the region as a whole would of been better off with Saddam hussein foot on the necks of the people of Iraq. Even if he and his sons were psychopaths the kept control with an iron fist in that country and man of the issues that still pleauge Iraq to this day would've been almost non existed. 🤷🏾♂️
Everything was agreeable except praising Sadat Hussein. Ruling with an iron fist is the cause of problems. It doesn’t create stability it just creates stability of the oppressors. Still shouldn’t have invaded
@K X also I've talked to many Iraqis and many of them agree, even the ones who were negatively effected by saddam regime personally told me that the "security" situation under saddam was way more ideal than what preceeded the invasion and occupation so yeah..
Did you miss the bit about the mass protests across the US and other places around the world against the Iraq war? It was widely condemned by many, how is that silent? There's a reason why war mongering jackasses in the US congress were trying to rename French Fries, "Freedom" Fries. Don't get me wrong, but I was wholeheartedly against the Iraq war from the get go and and still remember the palpable taste of disgust in my mouth when I saw the news of its commencement. But at this point you have to be willfully ignorant and intentionally obtuse not to see the glaring differences between the Iraq and Ukraine. In Iraq the US intentionally targeting civilians was rare, few and far between. For Russia it has been the heart of their strategy, and it is modeled after what they did in Chechnya and Syria. Putin stated as a mater of record in his speech announcing his intention to attack Ukraine that their identity and existence were invalid. Putin intends to erase Ukraine and Ukrainian identity. As malignant as Bush was, he did NOT have the same motivations for Iraq. I think Bush and key members of his administration should be prosecuted for war crimes, but sense the US is the keystone to the current Western paradigm for International Law that isn't going to happen anytime soon. That said, Putin makes Bush look like an angel. And as of today the ICJ agrees and has a warrant out for Putin's arrest.
They are America's puppets in the beginning alot of countries didn't really care like German until America started threating them. As an American I can honestly say my country loves to bully
I worked with 2 Iraqis boys in their mid twentys i asked them about it they absolutely hate America for destroying their homes and country killing their family members they had to flee with their parents when they were young children they live here in nz now
Iraq now knows how Central and South America feel about America's meddling in their domestic affairs, which include the toppling of democratically elected governments. Sadly, this behavior will be part of America's ugly legacy. A legacy of burning instead of building bridges of cooperation. The beacon of freedom and hope is now no more than a flicker of light coming to its end.
Who got a major lucrative construction contract to rebuild in Iraq despite having no construction experience? Gee that would be the brother of the current guy in the WH. And no I’m not a Republican.
He killed way more innocent than putin did. Literally, I think number like a million civilians, but Putin is a monster for wanting to take back land that been russian for hundreds of years
notice Jeb! inc. bvsh back in the office in FL through you know who.. that's @ what happened to Iraq's women too.. @ least there's Rojava * goddesses crush fash toxic sadist males. yup
With a 2 trillion dollars budget any average RTS player taken off the street at random could effectively completely change a countries core belief systems. It isn't that hard. A lot of people literally just suck at their job.
Does she realize that Iraq didn’t have a democratic government before the US invasion? Iraq has had a democratic government for 12+ years now Isn’t that something to celebrate?

It was all America and Israeli and the British. Day created Isis . I hope there God will create peace in the middle with China and President Putin day ar real ones to bring peace in the middle. Iraq was between a rock and an American fighter jet. There was no right answer, but her point was that at least with Sadam, the country was growing, and women were slowly gaining rights. Now it's just being pillaged by american interests, shady politicians, and the desperate. Finally, women rights were pulled back one of the few good reason america had to even involve itself
Those war criminals should be tried at the Nuremberg for their crimes committed against the Iraqis The US seems to continue the same criminal actions against libya, Sudan, Afghanistan, Syria, Palestine, Lebanon and many other countries unless they are held accountable for their actions
Huge numbers of Iraqis wanted Saddam removed. And still endorse that position. And Saddam was dropping nerve gas on Kurdish civilians. And invading Iran....and Kuwait. And refusing to buy food and medicine for Iraqi children because he didn't like the oil for food and medicine policy.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Well, technically it is the other way around. Putin's speech was frightfully similar to Bush's - and I think there was some intention to that. Probably trying to passively say "if the US can do it, so can I, and it you disagree you are hypocritical."
@@brianfox771 they’re nothing alike Putin did say a lot of truth in he’s speech why bush lied all the way 😂😂😂 Putin and Russia did have legitimate security concerns the US don’t so don’t put them in same bracket
@@Nigerianreaction BS. Putin's speech was complete lies and distortions. There was virtually nothing factually correct about anything Putin said. And you have to be swallowing pure, distilled Russian propaganda to think otherwise. The whole Donbas rebellion was fomented and instigated by Putin as a ruse to take it just like Crimea, and was fought by mainly Russian forces. He wasn't fooling anybody, and when it didn't work out he decided to take all or most of Ukraine, which he will also fail at.
Horrible interview. It was women like this who celbrated the US miltary ousting Iraq. I am not a supporter of the US military by no means, yet this women cannot have it both ways. She complains about Saddam, she complains about the US, she complains about politicians and militia. And complains aboutserices being disrupted during a war. No one is saying the Iraq war was justified, no one is saying it was p-leasant, it wa a mess. All this interview entailed was a woman trying to use every woke politically correct remark to spark outerage in people who cant even trust the wokeness of Democracy Now. It's clear the lead anchor does not like men, and she gets guests on to trash men in this benial passive aggressive manner. Give it a rest. I respect Democracy Now, yet theyve been around a long time and it's just become a beacon for aging women to complain about men and do nothing what so ever about it. Just because you make a few news articles detailing your opposition, doesnt mean you can clear your concious.
I'm pretty sure she was just trying to give a bigger picture to public. Iraq was between a rock and and American fighter jet. There was no right answer but here point was almost with Sadam the country was growing economyly and women were slowly gaining rights. Now it's just beginning basically pillaged for resources by american interests and special interests or current politicans
I remember one of my favorite atheists, Christopher Hitchens, was in favor of President Bush invading Iraq. Of course, he disagreed with Bush’s other political views. He said of Bush, “Just because a drunk driver happens to be going your way doesn’t mean you should get in the passenger’s seat”!!!
