Gene is a legend haha One of the best gigs I've ever witnessed. Frenetic performance and kick-ass 130 min show! Live at Aurora Concert Hall, St.Petersburg, Russia, 14th of April, 2016 Filmed by Stucker
@@srajeshwarishastry7646 💯🔥. Love the new mastered version of the album. they turned up his bass tracks so you can really hear it in the mix. His fretless bass tone is 🔥
@@dmusiclife5727 They also released a great remastered version of the human album. His bass was buried on the original version but his great basslines are clearly audible on the remastered version and Sean's drums also sounds better on the remastered version.
it's so amazing that they do this .. i missed out on Death back then ... i've seen Pantera, Tallica, Deth, Slayer, Sepultura ...all in their prime ... but i missed Chuck ... and i bougth HUman when it came out .... when DTA toured the 25 years of Symbolic i got to see them ... i finally managed to hear Death live ... i'll never be thankful enough
I love Steve and Gene continuing with this. The vocalist is doing a great job, probably the best it will get to mimicking Chuck. But it just makes me miss Chuck.
Vocalist seems real humble in his approach and they nail the sound as a band in the ways you'd hope for seeing them live. Not much more I can ask for than that. :)
I saw Death on the Individual Thought Patterns tour in 1993 in San Francisco. To say that they were incredible would be an understatement! I have always thought that music of this intensity should be played in smaller venues- it just sounds better. Gene was playing an 8 piece Pearl Custom Z kit with Paiste cymbals and a boat propeller that he would hit and spin. Steve was playing a 4 string fretless- not sure the make, but what an incredible spectacle of musical virtuosity. I will never forget it.
Or he'd be pissed off people played his music, fire the entire band, quit the tour and go back home. Nothing but love for Chuck but he was difficult at times.
Sounded just like the album !!!! Forever in our hearts!!!!! For some of us, this music is just music-- FOR OTHERS--it is a part of our childhood / teenage years and our entire life!!!! 😊❤😢😮😊😊😊😊😊
new Death can't exist without Chuck. They can flawlessly continue on his legacy by putting up great live shows, but as for the new music under 'Death' label - no way.
It did happen, I saw DTA live a couple of times with both Paul and Sean in it. Believe that was around 2013-14, with a big focus (heh) on Human. Then the last time I saw them in 2015 Gene had replaced Sean and it was more Individual Thought Patterns and Symbolic stuff.
This is nice played... guys' Sir CHUCK SCHULANDER, was the father og grooves, guy., after Sir Chuck, my favourate & my most favorite albums of Death are, Sound Of Percivitence, after that, Symbolic. Individual thought patterns... 🙂🤘🤘🤘
Do you like naps?! I like naps!!!! But I’m not gonna take a nap!!!!! Are you?!?! It’s not time to sleep!!! Even though I like to sleep!!! Who else here likes sleeeeep!!!!! I didn’t sleep today or yesterday!!! And I fucking LOVE naps!!!! Like fucking all if YOOOOuUUY!!!!! But we’re not sleepy right now!!!!!!! Are you sleepy!?!?! It’s not night night time for us yet!!!! Sleep time will be in a couple hours, after we get home and put on our jammies and brush our TEEEeEth!!!! Amazing performance 🤘🏽😈🤘🏽
Great!! When I was 20, I listened HUMAN. Then I really surprised Bass sound. But next album, hi was not there. My feeling was soo sad and disappointed. Now I'm really happy. Maybe chuck happy too. Thanks!!!
Of course, I'm glad! I love Steve's Bass playing, and I listen to the "Drum & Bass tracks" for the Human album a lot. Anyway, Steve and Gene Together as One is always just amazing.
To be fair; he is playing music that is very precise and technical. Chuck’s passages were extremely intricate and I’m not even a guitar player, (Drummer). Also, it’s not his material either; but even when watching Chuck play. You can tell that he was all about trying to recreate the same sound as identical; if not better to the recorded version of these tracks. R.I.P. Chuck and Sean.
Heat up the venue and the singer should have his shirt off, don't look at the guitar look at the audience. It sounds good but it could look better. No one could replace Chuck, but if you want to try... ;) I hope Gene lives forever.
Lousy stand in for Chuck. Really bad. Im glad I saw all u guys back in the early 90s:) Without this shit. Singer stand in drags it total down. Is this even ok with Chuck? He cant answer that yep thats right.
nah, they play with passion, not the case, I mean they played 130 minutes. If they were only for money, they wouldn't do that, just imagine playing 130 minute set for straigth 30 days on tour. Most of the bands play like 70 and go away. Death DTA show was full of respect and passion for Chuck and for audience. One of the best show I've ever seen in my entire life.
