He jumpscares the jumpscare. He bhops on any burglar that enters his home and drop kicks them, picks up phone to dial police, before taking their bag and using it to prop surf over towards the nearest abandoned boarding school to drop kick a nun. Then with 5 seconds to spare, he will then backwards long jump on the nearest staircase back to his home unto the burglar who has finally regained conciusness, hit him with his buttocks, and triggering the good ending with sub 1 second difference to his previous good ending run. The police arrest the burglar, then he proceeds to play on him computer, speedrunning scary games.
What makes the monsters scary is the fact that they chase you at a consistent pace, always seem to know where you are, and play creepy music all the time so you know exactly where they are which makes it even more terrifying when you're being chased by them because you know they're right behind you
I love how when the character's scooter stops working he just goes out on this dangerous horror adventure to fix it and escape. He could have just *jogged* out of there for Christ's sake, but he isn't going anywhere without his scooter. What a Chad.
I love how that big, scary floating head is so polite and gives the protagonist more time to do his shit by crossing that bridge like a regular, weak ass human
Even the doom slayer needed guns and his hands, this guy only needed 2 legs and 2 feet with a flashlight jammed into his chest and his mouth carrying batteries for the flashlight.
I kinda like how there aren't any dramatic chase sound effects when the monsters are coming for you. They just... sidle up, carrying little music boxes in their pockets.
This game is unironically unsettling and hilarious at the same time. Very classic indie horror vibes with out bad it clearly is but some how gives you anxiety.

I love how all the scary noises the monsters make in this game are so quiet yet they’re just as scary as if they were blaring in your ears. It’s like the polar opposite of a Puppet Combo game.
See my guess is that after speed running the same game for so many times, it stops being scary. It's sort of like it stops being a game and instead just becomes timing your inputs correctly. The face isn't a ghost thing, it's just a hitbox that you need to move past. Etc.
I tried the game, suddenly the music started playing I was ready for the worse, but it took me for surprise, I LOOKED AROUND and there was nothing, i turned back AND THERE WAS IT, i screamed and slanged the pc lol
I believe I read something on this. Horror gets less scary the more your mind processes it. The better the graphics, the less you look at something and you mind runs wild with "what the heck is THAT!?". Basically, something like the OG Resident Evil is much more terrifying than the new one simply for the fact that you can't entirely process everything fully.
for me, what makes a horror game scary is its atmosphere and immersion, and i agree with what Mimikhue says, I think those two characteristics combined with weird and unusual terror (like nightmares) would make a very good horror game
@@EvilSantaTheTrue don't compare dream with this random guy lol it's like comparing god with a sausage I mean, you're offending so much ImClownBTW the god smh
2017 I have homework to make a national emblem but my colored pencils are at school and I usually leave them, then I come to school with my helper and there are children who night patrol and they are allow me to go to the class and i take it
Bro imagine if this is the nameless protagonist of all horror games from (Amnesia, FNAF, etc) and the guy has seen and done so much shit that he's full on tired of it, he just wanted to take a nice vacation to Japan and even that is too much to ask!
Huh I didn't think Daniel from Amnesia the Dark Descent would live his days up until 1993 where the original Fnaf takes place, despite Amnesia taking place in the late 18th century. I still get the joke though.
I've actually never heard of or seen this game before, but I was scared as hell watching this guys play through. But as soon as he just starts casually side stepping the ugly ghost faces that are just moving towards him like he this is a totally normal thing, I just started erupting in laughter.
i remember that i was playing this game in my father's pc. I don't have any idea what was this game about, i just randomly opened it knowing this is a game. I played it finely, until the first jumpscare came up, i ran into my father and hugged him while crying lolol
The effect of the player character breathing heavily is brilliant! It still manipulates the player into feeling panicked but isn't nearly as obvious and obnoxious as your typical jump scare. Emotions are contagious and it acts as a kind of artificial social proof.
5:16 holy hell, you dodged both of them. it's impressive that you can speedrun so many of these low-poly horror games, the atmosphere in every one of them are eerie as fuck. gj man
