Not enough heavy terrain. The heavy terrain you had didn't do anything due to placement. This was a shooting gallery for the Intercessors from deployment. You should check out the terrain packs from Turning Point. Don't have to use them, but you can see how they use heavy terrain to block shooting across the map.
Enjoyed the Batrep! Very clean and fun to watch. @ 6:35 a marine throws a Frag grenade, but your Grenadier is already equipped with Frag, which means they cannot be selected by another operative, as per the Balance Dataslate (way back!)...
Poxwalkers and no plasma or icon bearer? It seems like you went for hard mode with the Death Guard! I wish poxwalkers were useful. The extra point cost for doing actions seems unnecessarily punitive with their slow speed.

Nice to see someone running Pox Walkers instead of the usual 6 marines! Sadly, it doesn't seem at all worthwhile, and, as you say, Pox Walkers don't seem to be able to do much of anything. I look forward to seeing what happens next time if you do decide to run an extra fireteam of Plague Marines.
Definitely! The pox walkers require an extra action to do anything mission related. They didn’t make for much of a meat shield either even with the FNP. 6 marines is a go for next time!
Same match-up against my brother a while ago. Pretty close-in fights, his Death Guard were so tanky. Won because I accidentally forced him to overstretch his forces. With a few good rolls, I put gaps into his advance then folded him.
Hey guys, I'm very new to Killteam and have a question. On Wahapedia, when we look under the Kill Team tab, we have several subsections for Space Marines. For example, "Intercession Squad" and "Space Marine." When we compare the units in both tabs, the data at "Intercession Squad" shows much more powerful marines with much more abilities. Even them basically being the same guys, Intercessors, something like "Bolter Discipline" costs 1 CP under the "Space Marine" tab. Why is that?
There is a class of teams called Compendium. They got a quick update for 2nd ed. but not a full remake. Scouts are about to get a remake though and im very excited!
@@FlameJackstar Wahapedia eventually gets all the updated stuff, but it also keeps the outdated stuff. So you can still run Space Marines from the compendium or you can run the updated version (Intercession).
