Kiegsman, impaled on traitor Astarties sword: “yes, as a mere mortal, I’m expected to die, and as Krieg, I’ll gladly do so for the Emperor.” “Sadly for you, however,” *holds out krak grenade* “He has not given me permission”
This is good logic. Not because of order of epics, but because: Imperial guard: defensive focus Space marines: counteroffensive in strategic ops. Krieger: OH F#CK THERES 400 THOUSAND AND OUR MACHINE GUNS DONT DO SH#T
@@Ihatestereotypes Kriegers are just all about siege warfare, they're the defensive focus here, do I have to remind you of the siege of Vraks ? Or that time they shelled a single hive city for 15 years without stopping once ?
The krieg arent exactly having a good time their grown up to be stoic cannon fodder to repent for the sins of the ancestors id say some followers of khorne are having a good time though and apparently nurgle followers are happy but thats mainly because of chaos corruption you arent wring about the orcs though they enjoy a good old battle
@@devilsadvocate367 Followers of nurgle aren't just having a good time, they are positively jubilant, their god has taken away all their pain, and papa Nurgle genuinely loves and cares for them. They just want to make Nurgle happy and spread his gifts around.
Close, but not quite correct. It's the other way around. "In Life, War. In Death, Peace. In Life, Shame. In Death, Atonement." - Krieg's Litany of Sacrifice
@@TechLeafRanger It's not just "actually a thing" but, like, the whole shtick of the DKoK, too. XD But that's good. It means you'll be way easier indoctrin-, I mean, *integrated* into the Imperial Guard, since you already got the right mindset XDD
Commissar: Yall see those genetically enhanced, chaos touched super soldiers over there. Yall wanna cavalry charge into certain dea- Kriegsman: Say less
In an Ironic twist of fate, Krieg Commissars actually have to rein their Kriegers in as opposed to forcing them to fight. In other regiments, killing a Guardsman forces the rest to fight harder, this is pointless for the Korps, because the yare all ready to fight and die at a moments notice and a Krieg Commissar must know how to hold them back until the right time to unleash them on the enemy and most certainly death. Irony of 40K at its best.
Many Space Marines think of themselves as "Tools of War" to be commanded into battles until death. they recognize the Krieg Death-Corpsmen as fellow 'Tools' and use / respect them as such.
If i rember right like first time krieg were deployed even the greatest space Marines were confused/ frightened by just how much they didn't care for there own lives or it was in some battle i don't rember but i know i saw it some where
the Kriegsmen are misattributed with suicidal, they really aren't, mostly.. they do not fear death, and instead glory in it's redemption, however, they will not waste themselves with just mindlessly killing themselves, that only works to an extent, they are respected and feared because they want to live, serve their purpose, redeem themselves. They are efficient, tactical, and fearless, if you look at just this video you see Kriegsmen ducking and repositioning when it is necessary, they stay alive long enough to distract the high priority target so their comrade can get a finishing blow. they use their massive numbers to their advantage, wave tactics, overwhelm the enemy, becoming sandbag divisions, but they aren't blindly suicidal, just willing to die for a greater purpose.
Thats the scariest part. They’re *not* suicidal. They see themselves as the empire views them. Well trained but ultimately disposable tools. They are no different from the gun and shovel they wield. They are living and breathing weapons.
@@daanstrik4293 Also, they are a very trained a capabale army. Death Korps Grenediers etc are fearless, but also elite veterans erc, they have gunners, tanks, and all manner of supporting engineers etc
0:40 I love how it looks like the music is blasted by the Korps 😂. The two space marines turned their heads as the music started, 10/10 matching the music with the cinematic 😁.
They are Dark angels!! The emperor's first! They know how to support and masters at tactical warfare! So they saw the opportunity to turn the tide of war and chose to support the Krieger!!
@@haemahn6072There's a game that can easily be modded (Similar to GMod, but not the same game) like that. Arma I think it was called. Just search up Bosnian Knight
Korpsman: "What does the eldritch horror see before dying?" *giggles Commissar: *sigh "What?" Korpsman: "MY SHOVEL! HAHA Get it?" Entire Korp: *laughs maniatically* Some korpsman in the back: "And a 100 thousand dead Korpsmen!" Another korpsman in the front: "Ha! Hopefully!" Commissar, genuinely concerned: "Ya'll need help..."
I like when the chaos space Marine was about to kill the poor guards men until the music kicks in and was like: wait… what’s that sound … where’s that coming from???.
Kiegsman, impaled on traitor Astarties sword: “yes, as a mere mortal, I’m expected to die, and as Krieg, I’ll gladly do so for the Emperor.” “Sadly for you, however,” *holds out krak grenade* “He has not given me permission”
They can be older, but training starts young and ultimately their known purpose is to die for the Emperor. That is what they want, to die in combat. EDIT - to add it is why they have higher squads as parents to them, so they do NOT give their life needlessly, which is how THEY want to die as "compunence" (spelt wrong) to the Imperium. As said, something along the lines "attachments to Death Corps of Kreig , in general were ruled almost hopeless. Our own power was to maintain, as such a soldier (Death Corps of Kreig) will rush without hesitant to die." It would LOWER the moral of other infantry, seeing such needless waste of life. My hat is off to the Death Corps of Kreig. Un relenting, and not afraid to die. (their own death is sacrificial, they WANT IT, (within combat) Scary MF's.
Ceramite armor vs. a Ceramite spearhead backed by shaped explosives and the will to use them, no matter what. While on "horses" that to us would be like you mixed the aggression of an angry grizzly bear with the toughness of a rhino, geneticaly then gave them all kinds of chem injectors to make them unafraid and not feel pain while still looking like a horse. Ridden by men considered suicidal by krieg standards. Bad times for anyone in the field
I love how the space marine was facing off against the other chaos marine just about to die by his hand the korps of krieg came in to save him they all gave they're lives to save that space marine I wonder if the space marine would go back to his battle brothers and tell stories of the heroics of the death korp of krieg 143 this would be an amazing 40k series I hope henry cavill will use the death korp of krieg In his series
The Space Marine most certainly would tell that story, for all their ego, Space Marines recognize true warriors of the Emperor and respect those who fight and the Krieg are one of the most respected regiments in the Imperium and Space Marines know it.
I LOVE this video! The horsemen charging, the Krieg ruthlessly advancing, the Marine calmly moving forward - it's awesome! The soundtrack rocks, too. I hope that any movie about War Hammer features everything this video demonstrates.
I would like to also add the fact that they wear gas masks and do not hyperventilate, panic or blackout which means they are constantly breathing steadily. Absolute monsters, I love the Krieg.
I stumbled upon this as it was in my recommended, i’m not sure what i’m watching but i loved every second of it. Can i get an explanation ? I understand the Korps is not to be truffled with
@@freshcutzwag well it's an expensive hobby, painting minis for Warhammer stuff can easily go from affordable to "I'm selling my organs and my house" But the death korps is just based enough for me not to care
@@MarImpObsc oh yeah i’ve heard all about the expenses and costs. i used to watch incontrol (god rest his soul) stream and it was incredibly fun but expensive
los death corp of Krieg salvando a un Space marine de los dark angels DOS veces en un solo video me llena el corazon de orgullo Y GANAS DE SACRIFICARME POR UNA CAUSE SUPERIOR Y POR EL EMPERADOR
Loved the video @Crusader! Can't wait for the next video man! Sabaton's "Attack of the Dead Men" fits so well with the Death Korps, it's like Bread and Butter LMAO!
Something that was explained to me I found interesting. They aren't suicidal they are fearless. Wich is even more terrifying. Suicidal means they disregard safety for death but the Korps uses tactics and thinks too you can see that in the way they clear the trenches and tunnels. They let the Marine take in the heavy gun as they duck. Then continue on. You see when the Chaos Marine shows they switch tactics again and attack like they trained for it.
Those kriegers infantrymen in the first part of the video should have their bayonets on, you know, always useful when you're charging into enemy positions filled with normal infantry and not walking blocks of tungsten
When you have winged hussaers in WW1 style in the dark future plus anime kids plus Sabatan background music theme. WW1 also had alot of so called kids. This is a potic stand FOR THE EMPEROR When guards in trouble they call spacemarines. When spacemarines waver under pressure tge Mad Kigids join the battle.
Are the kriegsmen even considered human I mean, they are more like robotic soldiers as people say, perfect soldiers with no fear. This song is great for them, since they’re humanity died long ago.
A lot of people don’t realized that while they look sort of like Horses in lore the Krieg mounts are just as cloned and fucked as the soldiers they are these mutant beasts that are liable to be just a dangerous without their rider as with one.
Whenever I see the iron legion I think of that video where it’s the imperial fist, talking shit to them, “we got some iron losers over here” “what are you going to cry you big iron baby did you poo in your suit?”😂
Ironically they know they need to hold their reigns tight, lest they spend themselves before the right time. The Korps are so ready and willing to fight and die, that their Commissars and Space Marine overseers actually need to stop them from just jumping in, otherwise they would jump at every opportunity regardless of the tactical or strategic advantage and it is here that their minders need to carefully select when to unleash them and keep them leashed until then.
