And then he calls the task force as Naomi leaves to commit suicide and meanwhile Light kills Aisawa and the task force shows up and Matsuda finishes of Light
i doubt L or anybody in the world would have made that connection cuz no one except misa and light knows that they would have to wait 40 seconds after writing a person's name in a death note for them to die.
he would have been caught in the first episode of his mom and Sayu actually knew to be concerned whenever he starts screaming about his god complex from his room
That was the biggest bruh I have ever let out like Was Reiner expecting Eren to answer "sure you killed hundreds of my people including my mom and traumatized me for life but I'll go with you guys happily"
Haha I edited this comment so you’ll never know why I got all these comments and likes and everybody’s laughing! Jk lmao Nah fam it’s just L:”Misa where’s Kira” Misa: “Light! L wants to talk to you!” Light: “WHAT THE FU-“
@Monki Flip Naomi is a trained FBI agent (which means she went through physical training and might be carrying a gun), she would likely have the element of surprise, Light is not at all used to physical violence, and according to the information I found online, Light isn't even that much bigger than her (46 kg vs 54 kg), meaning that his strength advantage isn't likely to be that big. Hell, even if she didn't win the fight quickly, people in the area would notice the fight and try to break it up, which would give her the chance to explain her actions and put more attention on Light. What, do you think Light would punch a woman into unconsciousness and eat her alive in public with nobody noticing him?
@Monke 1) she is an FBI agent 2) even if she didn't fight, she could just go ahead and inform the police (they were so close to the station after all) (Light could have been able to do nothing, considering how wary he was regarding his entire crimes) But, in that situation, who do you think the police would believe --- the chief's son who has helped solve other cases, or an ex-FBI agent, shaken by her fiance's death (unless L steps in, that is)
Light: I'm Kira Naomi: Actually, that's not my name Light: *haha I was joking I meant like the meme of kira yoshikage yeah I'm kira as in kira yoshikage ok bye*
My name is Yoshikage Kira. I'm 33 years old. My house is in the northeast section of Morioh, where all the villas are, and I am not married. I work as an employee for the Kame Yu department stores, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don't smoke, but I occasionally drink. I'm in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning. I was told there were no issues at my last check-up. I'm trying to explain that I'm a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn't lose to anyone.
What exactly is real name? If your parents call you by some other name and your name is written something else on documents and your friends call you by some other name .
*Light grabs the Death Note for the first time* "Hmm, nice book, I will write my name in the first page so people know that it is mine now, just in case I lose it." Edit: 20 thousand more likes and we can have a ghost town.
@@madelyn3751 1 thing you cant say that you are depressed if doctor didnt diagnos that. Either way you are stressed. Btw i hope everything will get better
One thing I never understood about this show. How is it that nobody in the family heard Light laughing and screaming in his room at any point in time? I mean, his mom was home after L met him at school and he flipped out.
He wouldn't have lost, that guy didn't know Light or Naomi and he wouldn't have remembered them when he found out about Light. L also never told them about Naomi so he couldn't regonise them.
@@memori2954 He was Aizawa one of the task force members but I really don't think he'd be able to remember a random stranger he saw on the street for weeks before meeting Light and discovering the connection. Maybe I could buy it if he saw a picture of Naomi's face when L was talking about her because then he'd remember the encounter as it was only a day ago but without seeing a picture of her face there is no way he'd remember Light.
The comment beneath yours gave the answer. That's scary: "The writer always said that he accidentally made Naiomi far too competent 😂 That's why he had to kill her so soon"
If you want more of her and deathnote in general read the bb murder case. It will explain some. Also yeah Light should have not killed her knowing who she was.
Light: What? L: are you gay? Light: no? L: does your mom know your gay? Light : *damn he’s trying to see if the joke will reveal I’m Kira. Id better be careful*
Even though he wasn’t caught here, this overconfidence of his is definitely what lead to his down fall. Like why would you risk saying that your Kira, even if you think their about to die? That’s just stupid and what got him caught in the final episode. There would have been other evidence but his confession was the final nail in the coffin for him.
God complex, that’s his character, it’s why he breaks down when he’s shot at the end, it brings him back to reality, he truly believes he’s untouchable by the end (who could blame him) and when he’s shot it jarringly reminds him he is mortal and will die, and likely pretty soon now that he’s been shot several times (I think it was more than once)
Quick Gaming Yeah, I realize that it was because of his ego and decent into madness. It was more of a hypothetical question, to bring home the fact that he could of easily won against Near, if he was more careful. Or at the very least not provide enough evidence to be sentenced.
Jacob Harris I think why he fails to defeat Near and not L is because L does somewhat respect Light. Even though he’s certain Light is Kira by the end (at least I would think), L and Light do bond, even if they won’t admit it. Near has no respect for Light, he doesn’t appreciate his intellect or his master plan and how he’s able to deceive, he sees him as an awful criminal and nothing more. Near defeats Light simply because he could not give two craps less about him, sees him as nothing but scum and the Death Note as a mass murder weapon I believe
underrated comment, Light who also has seen the Japanese investigators work and is very careful probably is qualified at checking for legit ID's, and an ID from Japan is probably incredible quality, really unlikely to falsify to the extent of tricking someone that can verify one.
Would've liked to see her in Misa's place. She could've been a second threat for much longer and Light could've manipulated her like he did in the original scene. Just switch a few inconveniences, such as her inkling of knowing too much and Light's type of trust-in-me lies, and have her work with L again. Once Light joined the force, her trust in him would be set (even if she might be suspicious of him by some point). Of course, it would take some reevaluation and could potentially impact the direction of the story in a major way.
@nobita nobi While Misa Amane was created to be the perfect guinea pig, her involvement does not settle well. She is around the same age as Light, also has a death note, lives in Japan, is a famous model, and finds him rather quickly. These are a lot of convenient things to just pop up. At first, one could think that maybe she has a bit of intelligence as well but her adoration is clouding it. This turns out not to be the case as she is naïve, very lucky, and tends to be a lot more trouble for Light at times rather than a help. I wouldn't suggest that Naomi Misora be Light's girlfriend or be as easy to manipulate as Misa, but I could see her as playing more of a role than Misa since it makes sense for someone who has worked with L and has a personal connection to the story to help the task force. But that's just an opinion of mine. Whoops, I wrote too much.
apparently she was supposed to have a larger role in the story but the author underestimated her intelligence or smth so he removed her :(( this scene always frustates me because it just seems so out of character for an experienced agent
I mean the family would probably ignore it if light just flat out said I'm kira and shown his death note then they'd say kira could be anyone this is so hard
Naomi: Actually, that name I gave you earlier was not my real name... Light: Fuck it. *takes knife out of pocket* Light: Guess I gotta do it the hard way.
It honestly would have been really interested to see if light would actually kill someone the " normal" way instead of using the note. You know because, aside of increased risk of leaving evidence, you have the fact that is not the same at all to write a name, than to actually stab or strangle someone.
@@fatmaozgul3150 I think he wouldn't. Because to him writing names was not a crime and not killing, just "cleansing" or whatever, and putting a knife in someone would be an "actual crime".
on lights side, he didnt know enough about naomi misora's chacater as L did, and combined with the fact that her fiancee nearly died, it made the suggestion of forcing her to quietly kill herself more believable even though it put him in risk at the end
Stupid Kid Naomi was a former FBI agent with a strong will to try to find her husband’s murderer, her taking her own life was very out of character and a red flag Light made the simple assumption that she was depressed so it would look fine, but L caught onto that right away, and realized something was odd
Light: Because I'm Kira Naomi: well that was a fake id got you bitc- Light: How rude don't interrupt me, I meant to say my name is Kirasaki. jeeeeez......
Naomi:but you just said your name is light yagami..meaning "night of god" Light:well actually that was not my real name either..you see i wouldn't just give names to strangers Naomi:then why do you wanna know my name so badly? Light:because it was a test!how smart of you to have a fake id..you know you shouldn't give someone a real id..but don't worry im actually not kira (: Light(in his head):RYUKKKK GIVE ME THE EYES NOW
I always found that scene really hard to watch. It felt really forced and I felt like the characters didn't act how I feel they would have. She's supposed to be a crazy good detective, but she just gives out her name. And on top of that, it was just pure luck that light got that interaction, so it doesn't really feel deserved.
Her Fiance died and she was depressed. The complexity of the case and its ineffective investigations made her impatient to which she somehow lost focus on being vigilant as a detective and became desperate to anyhow solve that case. She did was careful while talking to Light at first. But when light told her about his father's police background, his interest in investigation of the case, some convincing gestures and when he eventually showed his driving license to prove his identity to her, Naomi felt a hope, completely. Finally, when Light offered her to help solve this case together, she gave her trust into him, but was unaware of the consequences. Was just a name after all.
Hades Señor de las Tinieblas I don’t think they’ve been nerfed so much as they’re dealing with something beyond their control. Light’s a genius and at the time was the sole possessor of the DN in the world. Kinda hard to work with something you don’t understand. Then again, Raye Penbar didn’t even listen to his fiancée when she tried to explain other methods of Kira’s killing so maybe he was just an idiot.

My name is Yoshikage Kira. I'm 33 years old. I live in the American Gardens Building on West 81st Street on the 11th floor. I believe in taking care of myself, and a balanced diet and a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I’ll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial masque which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion. There is an idea of a Yoshikage Kira. Some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me. Only an entity. Something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours, and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable, I simply am not there.
I was visibly shaking throughout that Naomi episode...it was soo intense and the anime had just started... To think that there was so much more ahead was one the best feelings I want to erase my memory and watch Death Note again!!😭
Don't worry your memory isn't that great...it's been 10 months now...u have forgotten many many things...and u have D.I.D. and u feel like u don't wanna die but also don't wanna live.... watching anime without completing your work may not be a good idea as it will kill u more from within...Anyway...now u have to get VPN to watch anime cause Kissanime is not available in India and Crunchyroll isn't free...I don't think u will go that far to watch anime ...i know u r lazy....so gg... Hopefully learn some skill ...or jus die bro
I...I don't wanna watch it I mean Ive watched couple of eps then dropped it coz it was too intense but I wanna watch it?!(ik I'm weird) but I'm scared! Should I give it a try?
That character was so smart to use an alias, she almost figured out how Kira can kill people even before L could, but is actually dumb enough to trust that a high school kid is working with a top secret team to catch one of the dangerous killers.
This was REALLYYYYY dumb on Light's part. She could've literally just caught him if she gave him an another fake name. I always didn't like this scene for this reason, I just can't see Light doing this dumb of a mistake. But I think if she actually did gave him another fake name, Light would've probably been like: I am Kira. *nothing happens* *Naomi looks surprised and confused* Light: Annnnd you just died. See, you shouldn't have given me your ID without being 100% sure that I am Kira or something along the lines
I always hated this scene too but because An outstanding ex FBI agent as careful as Naomi who figured out how Kira kills people would 1. Never show her ID to a stranger 2. Become VERY suspicious of Light's persistence/following her around. Naomi is a genius almost on-par with L...
Sometimes you make a bet and get lucky. Wasn't smart for sure but light had reason to believe she gave a real name and I guess he thought it's less likely for her to give 2 fake names in a row
He's an egotistical sociopath, lol. He 100% would do that, and did similar things all throughout the show. Gloating over pain, suffering, and death was 100% his M.O., just like any other two-bit, pathetic serial killer with delusions of grandeur.
@@madbros5613 Yep, exactly. She also _knew_ her fiance also made the mistake of giving his ID to someone. Why the hell didn't she take precautions around that exact same situation? This scene is one of the few I really don't like, lol.
If it had never started snowing, Aizawa would’ve never opened his umbrella and would’ve caught Light writing Naomi’s name in the notebook. Yeah, sure. Light’s savior, snow.
Did they even know that he used the deathnote to kill people yet? I might need to check but to me it would have looked like he was just writing some randoms name on a piece of paper. But idk I’ll check
@@willevensen7130 No. The idea that this would get Light caught is absurd. He doesn't even know who Light is yet and he never lears who Naomi is. Plus he wouldn't pay attention to what some random stranger was writing down.
Cormac B That’s what I’m saying, I feel like the only way that Aizawa (don’t know if I butchered his name) would catch Light was if he overheard him talking to Naomi about joining the task force. I don’t find that plausible considering Light probably checked the surrounding area for people who could overhear him.
@@willevensen7130 You weren't saying anything, you were just showing skeptisism towards the idea that Aizawa would have found him out but you seemed unsure that he wouldn't. I told you that he wouldn't and I kind of ranted about the idea that Aizawa would have caught him because alot of people have menioned it and its stupid.
AU where Light is actually a senile, deranged schizophreniac who's been hallucinating the entire Death Note thing for years on end and needs aid from a trust funded caretaker just to get by. "No! I swear! SHE WAS RIGHT THERE!" "Shh, mister, lets get you to bed, now..."
I really don't like that moment in anime 'cause police be like: "Ah, Naomi Misora was trying to tell us something, than went somewhere with Light and than commited suicide. Totally not suspicious"
Yeah I always found it weird that the people are the front desk weren’t questioned after her disappearance especially since those people should’ve reported that she came in to give them a message for the task force
