@@mello9586 everytime I see old comments, this is the first thing that come to my mind🥺I feel like r these guys still alive, how they be doin in life, will I ever meet them etc etc
I love it too, I think its because its totally screams the anime Death Note since their saying careful what you do, cause god watching your every move and it fits so perfectly, since the people in Death Note have to be careful on what they do because Kira is watching and if you something he doesn't like your as good as dead
Spoiler warning for the entire series of Death Note. You were warned. The sad truth of Misa is that she's probably the most tragic character in Death Note. First, her parents died at the hands of a robber, and then she was meant to be originally killed by one of her psycho fans. Following that, she made the deal for the shinigami eyes twice, bringing her total remaining life down to 1/4 of what it once was. She spent the rest of her life being used by Light (albeit willingly) and putting up with his demands and abuse (fortunately, Light didn't take advantage of her body, as far as we see. I'm sure she would have gotten pregnant and demanded to keep the child). But what makes it even worse is that at the end of the series, she kills herself, and her total life span can be deduced. Let's assume she got the death note and the shinigami eyes right at the start of the series after Jealous saves her and she meets Rem. Her life was brought down by half. Then, she meets Light a few weeks to months later, loses her memories and makes the deal again with Ryuk, bringing her life total down by 1/4, and dies days (at most) after Light does upon learning he's dead. There's a total of six years in the Death Note timeline, so that means if she didn't get the shinigami eyes, she only would have lived another 24 years from the start of the show. She was 19 when Death Note started. She only would have lived up to be 43 years old at her (possibly natural) death. For comparison, the average life expectancy of a person in Japan is 83.98 years. She would have lived half as long as the average Japanese person without ever coming into contact with Light or the Death Notes, and all she ever wanted was to be loved. You can't help but feel for her.
wow, this really puts Misa’s character into perspective. She seems all bubbly and cheerful but she’s throwing her life away for Someone who doesn’t even love her back, nor to mention her parents death. Poor girl, she was always one of my favourite characters :/
@@tylerwilliams6264 that only means either Jealous and Rem's respective lifespans were very low when they died or Misa had less time to live originally and would have died sooner than she did.
After Light's death I must feel sad for dear misa amane because she lost her parents and she only loves light but he is no more.. and light yagami's mother & daughter what happen with them? 😭
Misa is annoying at times, but this part hits the feels. She convinced herself that she is nothing without Light. I do believe that if she wasn't so clingy with Light and sorta helpless, she would be a good person. I believe there was a bit of kindness and intelligence and strength to her character that no one knows about. And Light made her throw that part of herself away. Which is why near the end she is super depressed and confused and lonely.
Misa, that goddamn loser. It would be so much easier for light to win if only she was not there to cause the trouble...I will always hate misa for making Light lose...always >:(
@@kryptonnslaxx6378 I have watched death note and I know that. But you know if misa didn't come and give all the fingerprint and proof to L which leads to Rem threatening him,Light wouldn't have to lose all his memories and go into survilence...light would have easily defeated L while being in secrecy, which means near wouldn't have know about him and he could have easily won...Did misa really had to interupt and threaten light to ruin all his plan...Light didn't deserve all that trouble and pain...that dumb girl should have died a more painfull death >:/
@@mello9586 Yes but Near would still replace L because he would still die as it's Light's intention all the time. EDIT: However, you are also right about that because if L never knew about Shinigami's existence (which he did and the information got passed to his successor). Near will have difficulties solving Light's crimes after L's death and Light will have plenty of time to plot his assassination against Near
@@kryptonnslaxx6378 That's exactly my point.Even the writters of death note have mentioned that L is far more superior in intelligence than near, and if near wouldn't have known all that imformation from L then it would be virtually impossible for him to win.Light had defeated L,which automatically makes him superior to near.It would be no big deal for him to kill near had misa not ruined all his initial plan :(

Very late but I liked both Light and Misa's characters. Remember tho, Misa was not innocent either. She practically blackmailed Light into making him her boyfriend and she killed plenty of people before she even met him, like Ukita.
Spoiler if you haven't watched the end of death note Was I the only one who cried when light died I wish ryuk didn't right lights name in his death note
Why? It was obvious that Kira had to be at least part sociopathic and she still felt the need to contact him and pressure him into being her boyfriend. She brought all of that upon herself, what's there to be sorry for?
SPOILER It totally blew my mind at the ending of the series, throwing me back to the episode when she sings this song and is standing on the edge of a building, foreshadowing her suicide
I sang this song in school while staring blankly at a wall . . . let's just say that my geometry teacher thinks I need to go to a mental hospital . . .
It's amazing to think that under everything this is how Misa views her situation... and it's absolutely beautiful! No wonder she puts up with Light, in her perspective it's totally worth it. However I don't condone how he treated her, I just wish she could have found someone better before things took a turn for the worst.
Although I personally don't ship Light with Misa, think that Misa is referring to Light in this video, and just how much she loves him. That is sad, especially since Light doesn't return the feelings. The lengths Misa goes to just to help Light is quite testing of her loyalty, but although she is loyal, she isn't the brightest bulb in the lamp. I'm sure Light was intelligent enough to come up with another plan to kill L, or could have been Kira when not being watched instead. Despite this, this song cut deeply into me, and still haunts me.
Tha fact that she literally worships kira and totally in love with light make more sense. Remember she committed suicide in February 14 which is valentines day wearing all black and eyeliner it's like she's well prepared to commit suicide.
Actually, in one of the relights, Light does become a shinigami. He wants to know more about the human world from Ryuk, who tells the entire series from his point of view... Though it isn't until the end of the whole thing that it is revealed that Light was taht shinigami... Thought he doesn't go to the human world, that would make for an interesting sequel!
I think its intresting that neither of them truly loved eachother. Misa admired and look up to Kira, not Light himself. And because of that she went through with every demand to the person she respected the most. And obviously, Light never loved Misa. He only liked what she could over to him ( something that he couldnt get himself) and only cared about her when it was benefiting him. At the end of the day, both of them were chasing after something the other person had.
If ur on a phone/tablet, click on the screen and click on the settings/gear button and click loop on and it will automatically go on a loop, if ur on a PC or laptop right click on the screen then click loop on 👍 yw
Wasn't Light kinda abusive from the beginning (like, emotionally abusive, not physically...)? I mean he literally only dated Misa because she was useful to him and he was ready to kill her off if he didn't need her anymore. :I Anyway, Light is an interesting written character, but a pretty terrible person.

**MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS** If anyone here has seen Death Note:Relight, you’ll know that Light is a shinigami (confirmed by Ryuk), so logically anyone who used the death note is a Shinigami. So shouldn’t misa be there? Along with Raye Penber as he **technically** used the notebook. I know this is a random comment, but I need someone to share this- also this song is actually kinda cute but creepy
Message that last line contains is that misa when got the shinigami eyes second time and when light yagami forfeit his ownership misa seen his life span and she knew that he is going to die soon
Actually,it was never said that if you use a Death Note, you'll be a Shinigami. Ryuk basically only said that the user will neither go to Heaven or Hell.
When I first watched the series I thought Misa was annoying as Heck, but then this song was played, and I thought differently. Now I think she's cool. I hate Episode 25 because of what happened to my boy L, but I love this part of it!
if death note was rightfully remade into 3 live action movies, i'd have this song at the end of the third movie when light dies in front of the task force, spk and ryuk for mid credits. then koda for normal credits. that's just me.
I doubt that all the events of Death Note will fit into three films. I think there should be five films. I will share my vision. The first contains the events of the first 9 episodes and ends after Light and L meet at the entrance ceremony. The second film contains the events up to the moment when Light and Misa (who have already lost their memory) are released and L agrees with Light that they will search for Kira together. The third film would end with L's death, the fourth would include the story arc with the theft of the Notebook (including the death of Yagami Soichiro), but not shortened (as in the anime), but full (as in the manga). Fifth is the last. P.S. I agree that the song would be suitable for the credits.
@@Boris_Dyadyora after some years I think 4 films could suffice the whole series, each one being within 2 1/2 hours long. The first two being Light vs L, 1 ending with the question of the second Kira and 2 ending with ls death, the last two being Light vs Mello and Near, 3 ending with the reveal of mikami and 4 ending with near beating Light.
@@Charles12 I have to agree that the second film will be able to contain all the events from the appearance of the second Kira to the death of L. This is confirmed by the fact that this is exactly what happened in the film "Death Note 2. The Last Name". The only thing I can't agree with you about is the fourth movie. If It's entire plot is events from the appearance of Mikami to the end of the anime, it may turn out to be disproportionately short and a little poor in events. In general, let's admit that what we need is a normal series from Netflix.
completely agree since they killed off all my favorite characters, first L was my fav character, then he died, then it was Mello and then Matt, then they both died >:(
MisticulX xD Well obviously I know and love D.Gray-Man. I mean....my youtube name. xD But I did have to agree. It reminded me of it. Not so much because of the tune, but more because of the creepiness factor.
