Music video for Death Note's The Last Name movie using Red Hot Chili Pepper's Snow (Hey Oh). I don't know how official it is.. But I like it. Some spoilers beware.
I have asked so many people if they have seen Death Note. Everyone says YES...to the anime version, so I recommend this live version. I even loan them my DVDs (under a threat of death if damaged) and they all agree...the live version is MUCH BETTER than the anime. And anything with Tatsuya Fujiwara init is a winner for me.
i watched the show and movies one after the other back in freshman year hahah. that was 'bout a decade ago now damn. all much better than netflix deathnote though. As a big fan of the anime I honestly enjoyed the Japanese live action deathnote movies. and also enjoyed their odd choice of ending credit music hah.
I partially agree with this statement, of which, it is superior to the source material (in conclusion). But I would also like this version to be carried over into the masterpiece.
@@Nanu67-e9jI wish there was an alternate universe where Warner Bros localized the film for a theatrical release in America and the Netflix version doesn’t exist.
I know Kenichi is the one who gets most of the praise for his portrayal of L, but I thought Fujiwara was just as good as Light and deserves more recognition for his performance. Both actors were great together.
Snow (Hey oh)by Red hot chilli peppers, I love this song, so its cool that it the official song for the movie! The movie is really good, everyone go watch it!
for people who got here searching the song from the intro of Death Note 2(movie)...the song is Dani California...this song isnt the exact song form the movie...btw..i think im quiet enjoying it much...snowwwwwwwwww xD
Considering my friends and I saw this movie in a theater at AX this weekend, we all freaked when the song started. "Did they turn the music back on... Wait, it's timed to the scenes... Weird." Singing about California in a Japanese movie. At least it's a good song. ^-^
Man this has got to be one of the few movies that are successful at being translated from a game. Though i dont like how Light looks T_T. L rocks yussss cool video ^.^
you can get both of them from kcdvd for like 15 bucks and 5 dollar shipping. Really good movies. if you a fan of death note then defentily check it out. Probably one of the best anime turned movies ever created.
Yeah, "L: Change the WorLd"; a spin-off movie about L's last 23 days alive as a result of his method to trap Light in Last Name. Apparently it didn't do very well because it didn't have the psychological thrill aspect that Death Note has. I'd love to see it, but I can't find the movie with subs...
Maybe the actress didn't want to dye her hair. You know how particular these stars can be. Personally I thought that, despite the different hair, she did a great job in the role.
They don't. It was a one-night only deal that Fathom Events did (The first movie was shown in June). I believe both movies were released in a double DVD pack for $20-$30, but I'm not sure.
the director was trying to create his own vision. He wanted to keep it the same as the anime, but also differences. You think about it, if he were to create the ENTIRE anime it would be like another star wars trilogy. They probably didn't wanna go over the bugdet and altered the ending. I like it ^w^ since L still lives. and the notebook was real in the anime .-.; it was just draw instead of actually pyshical since it's not ...well you know real.
Aloooong time ago...lol Theres 2 movies that are already out on DVD in japan, and another movie thats being made for I think Feburary of this year. :p The first two movies cover the whole Kira thing...and the next ones supposed to mostly about L...after the 2 movies... yay!
OMG that was awsome...Wow I have to see this movie! Just watched the first one, does anyone no where I can find this movie with English Subtitles? Also Is it true that Death Note(the anime) has been liscenced? If so do you think they will bring the life action movies over as well?
There are NO heaven or death. When you die, no matter HOW you die, you all go to NOTHINGNESS. (As stated in the death note manga 12) "Death is Equal"-Rayuk
spoilers beware .-. misa doesn't kill herself in the live action. she's seen at the end still alive. the live action there's no official 'misa dies' or not. in the anime she does. though you don't see it, you see her standing at the edge of a building and she does end up dying.
If you want to watch the movie which is still in Japanese, its Called Deathnote: L change the WorLd......i hope its still posted on youtube and subbed......Near is only Named at the end of the 3rd movie Sorry for spoiler.....couldnt Resis XD
well u can find them on crunchyroll(dot)com but you have to become a member to watch it. but it doesn't cost anything so no worries about that^_^ on another note...Kenichi Matsuyama (L) is sooooooooooooo hot in this! *sigh* love this film!
he falls off his chair cuz he heard "shinigami" i think , but it means either demons or like the things that kill them , i think of it as "death gods" or reapers , he also fell cuz he heard about the 2nd kira by the message that was broadcasted
No, I think it applies to everyone since Ryuk says there is no heaven or hell. Doesnt matter if u used the deathnote or not. And he said death is equal, means it applies to everyone.
