Ever noticed that all McDonald's buildings went from being a happy child to a depressed middle aged man

Such a shame and a waste. I don't want to insult anyone. And I know they are spending a lot of money doing this. And they think they are making it better. But it's not. Takes all the character out of McDonald's. Turns it into a cold looking business place. They take Ronald McDonald away, all the other characters and they change the looks of the store. The old shapes of the '80s and '90s were warm and welcoming. I've even heard young teens saying that they love the old 80's styles. Of course people will still go to McDonalds. But again this takes out all the warmth and character. Seems like they're trying to end dine in and the fun of McDonald's

That's a shame they tore it down. New store won't be as nice and warm and colorful as the old one was. I hate the company's new architecture. Their new style is just flat-out ugly.

I do not like the new stores at all I loved the original 1970’s stores better.

I'm shocked how many people are crying over the demolition of this ugly building. There isn't anything architecturally special about its construction with that hideous ugly roofline from the 70's. It's a garbage building.

Why not just rebuild all of them from the inside instead of tearing them down?

Oh fuck I didn't even know I moved to Albert Lea mn around July of 2017. Many great memories of that building growing up mainly my grandfather always taking me there with his generosity.

got my first lego set back in the 80s from there, so many memories there, getting drunk across the street at brothers wedding and going through drive through drunk (passenger)

reminds me there was an old baptest church here they just tore down it was built in 1887 though, had nice wood on the inside and so on, sat behind where the postoffice is for years, it was used till about three years ago, but blackmold started growing and water damage to the roof did it in, much of the windows and all the stuff that could be saved like the organ and woodwork was removed beforehand of course, and the guys that tore it down and are able to will take strictures apart slowly and carefully so that as much as possible can be resold :} like bricks, and support beams and old old wood beams that are not damaged thats not to say that stuff is not destroed but if they have enough time they will pull off the still good stuff out of the building, like I got footage of them pulling out an old wood staircase and it was carted off to be resold and did so with an excavator a john deer to be percise, hes good with the control seen him on demo and digging jobs around the area several times and you would not belive how good he is with his excavator like an extention of his own body mr knott is, of course when you do it as long as he has and his son of whome I am talking about running the excavator he was born into the buisness, but the way they can carefully take stuff apart is almost like a dance.

I found another in fairmont they either moved or did it for remodeling
