Comicstorian I really liked this version of him too and i hope that next writer will come out with something similiar. Also this version was... sad. I loved him as a funny character with tragic past, with broken hearth and awesome adventures but this one cought my feelings, I really felt for him and almost cried a few times while reading this series. I, also, daubt that he really died becouse of one reason which is curse of Thanos. Deadpool is CURSED WITH LIFE! He is to be in non-stopping struggle and agony to live and see how his loved ones die... AND i'm sorry for my bad english, becouse it's not my first language... My grammar skills are really terrible, especially when it comes to writing. ;P

+Arturo Casab i have felt that way for years now, but deadpool is too popular to make a drastic change like not having him kill people. he isn't one of those characters who can just pass down the deadpool name to someone who will kill. also there's those people who don't really read comics so marvel would lose profit cause less people would read deadpool comics. in my opinion deadpool is deadpool, wade Wilson will always be deadpool and deadpool will always be my favorite marvel character.

Jared Jeffery He is Deadpool, but if a character was stuck without any development for all time then the story would become really boring, really fast. Deadpool has been characterized as more than a foolish clown ever since his first apearances, even during the first volume of his comics, and the way he reacted to finding out he had a daughter was similar in the beginning was similar to the Punisher's reaction to finding out he also had a daughter, but Deadpool eventually went back to her which forced the Merc with a Mouth to deal with being a father, something toyed around a bit in the MAX series and that showed Wade was really excited not only to be a parent bu also the best one there ever was.

+Arturo Casab i agree 100% with you. a good way to keep wade as deadpool without a reboot is if he did it to protect and or train Elliot. this way he's a family man and deadpool at the same time.

Sad Clown and Merc with a Mouth Deadpool are one in the same, its just certain writers only know how to produce a "commercialized" Deadpool that you can see in on one-offs and such. I want to see a Deadpool developed but still intact but at the same time I don't want another "HAHA CHIMMIE CHANGAS" Deadpool that they portray in the show "Ultimate Spiderman" or in fan made media. Anyway...amazing comic. Hyped for Secret Wars

I like both versions. Merc with a mouth Deadpool makes it obvious through his past relationships that all he really wants is to have someone care about him. Sad Clown Deadpool shows this side even more and feels like a natural progression to me. With his wife and daughter now dead thanks to the earth blowing up, when he eventually is revived in the comics again, I feel like it'd be fitting for him to still be Sad Clown, but slowly revert to Merc with a mouth again to hide the loss he feels from losing his friends and family.

I think she's always supposed to be more black. But artists / creators can't decide if they want her light or more brown. That was an incredible ending. I didn't feel that the planet thing was necessary to end this, as the settling down with friends would have been good enough for me, but i think they just wanted it to be a definite ending to mark the end of that series forever. and that final issue of deadpool will be something i am going to try my hardest to get for that ending, which i felt really summed up how i see deadpool, as a man who really only fights because living without love is pointless, which sounds really soppy but is basically true.

Can someone explain the Death of Dedapool to me... the ending left me confused: So, was the Deadpool we've been following not part of the 616 universe? I don't understand how the planet colliding would kill him and not literally everyone else if he exists in the same universe as everyone else. (Like say, the X-Men he teamed up with or Old Steve Rodgers) Maybe I don't understand how Secret Wars or the Incursions works but basically the people that get picked to fight in the new Secret Wars don't die but everyone else does? Like say Jubilee most likely will NOT be chosen to fight, so she's dead.

It's a part of the incursions storyline whereby worlds from different universes ( I think) are colliding with each other if they do collide then both worlds are destroyed however if the people on one world destroy the other world before it crashes into them, then that world is saved. (Don't quote me on this, kind of new to comics got this info from ComicsExplained)

Brad Pritikin Removing the text and limiting the amount of panels used per comic allows us to combine it with the dramatic reading and music to create something new using someone elses art. The goal is to separate our work as far as possible from the original work while allowing you to know what we're talking about. Hope that helps!

Does that mean you consider these videos to be criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, or research? Or something equivalent? A dramatic reading would seem to imply it's intended for entertainment...

Brad Pritikin Informational, regardless of the dramatic reading or not, we are teaching about these characters and storylines. The channel was started with no intention of massive growth and originally we used to just use everything from the comic. Marvel and DC were unhappy and talked to us, we came to an arrange where we remove text for the most part and limit panel use and now we release video under Fair Use and the DMCA. If you are just another guy trying to troll with the whole thing of "OMG YOU ARE STEALING COMICS." I can just stop you now, we have their approval to do whatever and we get the indie book creators permission before hand.

It just seemed odd to me. Something like this normally qualifies as a derivative work, which requires approval of the copyright holder. So if you have their approval (which is conditional on altering the comics) then I guess that settles it. That's really what I was asking and first response didn't really address it.

Brad Pritikin I dont typically answer the question because its a very long answer as to how everything happened and normally its just someone trying to troll. But we place the disclaimer in there because if we dont we get a TON of comments asking why we did it. But yes, we got approval and seek out approval for videos that dont fall into Marvel and DC. If we do something and anyone is unhappy with it, we just remove it.
