This April 30th marks the 75th anniversary of Adolf Hitler's death. The German dictator committed suicide on April 30, 1945 in his Berlin bunker. During the last months, Hitler lived in the bunker of the Reich Chancellery, while the German armies were forced to retreat. The advance of the Allies in the west and the Soviets in the east meant that few German generals were confident of victory. In these circumstances, Hitler's poor health had been aggravated. The parkinson caused him almost uncontrollable tremors in his left arm, he suffered digestive problems, he was increasingly hunched over, and at times he found it difficult to walk.
In this video I explain the last ten days of Hitler, from his last birthday on April 20, 1945, to the moment he decided to end his life with his wife Eva Braun.
