I agree it's hard to get invested in these comic changing events when they don't even last for a year and will be undone by the next big event. Big events that change everything should be something that happens after 5-10 years minimum, not every year.

I get being over as these Crisis events and hope this one is consequential. This issue was too exposition heavy for me but also felt a little out of nowhere. Still, I'm hoping that some B and C list characters get some of the spotlight from this.

I feel like Mr Incredible here on how I feel about Crisis' being done over and over No matter how many times you save the multiverse, it always manages to get back into a Crisis again. Sometimes I just want it to stay saved, you know?

This Dark Crisis thing feels less like a "Crisis of Infinite Earths" type of crisis that completely reboots the timeline, and more like just a large story with the word crisis in the title. Like "Identity Crisis" from a few years ago.

Honestly my interest pretty much non existent, simply due to the fact the heroes are always dieing, then coming back. Their sacrifices mean nothing anymore, cause it's now more rare for a hero not to be killed. Besides isn't this like the 5th all powerful dark entity to have killed the league.even when they win, a few years later their will be some other all powerful evil that will cause Criss and the cycle will continue

False kill, check. Seemingly hopeless situation, check. Multiversal villain that dwarfs everyone, check. My loss of interest, check.

Kind of impressive how bendis bungled his time at DC to the point his time in JL was cut short. Editorial has really made “great choices”.

My personal opinion is simple: DC Rebirth was the pinnacle of hope for DC Comics, it wasn’t a reboot consisting of a Crisis Event (which I’m tired of them doing every year now). Didn’t DC do a complete reset after Dark Nights Death Metal? Now we’re doing it again? They gotta stick to a formula for once

It might just be because getting creative with names is difficult. But, because "The Darkness" was said so much, I felt like I was hearing about DC version of Never Ending Story.

I think the Dark Crisis will be more Shattering than All the Crises we know like Crisis on Infinite Earths, Final Crisis, and Infinite Crisis.

How dope would it be if Dark Crisis is secretly the DC / Marvel crossover series we’ve been wanting for so long.

Crisis events are exhausting! They make these huge events that never stick because everyone can be resurrected in comics. I agree, pick a course and stick with it

The Black Adam scene seems very similar to the Hulk/Bruce Banner crashing into Dr. Strange's house in Avengers Endgame. Also, how did the Justice League die so easily? Will they stay dead? I hope not?

Though it happened at the end of that year it was 30 years ago that another DC title had the issue number 75 that also proclaimed the DEATH OF ... nomenclature. It also featured many of the same heroes and villains from the comic in the video. Two of them- Kal El Superman of Earth 0 was beaten and at the same moment killed Doomsday in Superman #75 in December of 1992. I was 12 or 13 and got the trade paperback of the whole "Death of ..." situation for Xmas that year ... It was out that fast ... And of course got three issues of the black polybag sealed #75, a copy of the nonsealed new stand edition, every single issue of the then four Superman comics out at the time with the Rise of the Supermen complete hoax, and then he was brought back to life with ... LONG HAIR! It was that next year I found out about titties and smoking pot ... So I stopped caring about the books but kept them all for another 25 years. Sold them all (not just these few but thousands more complete 90s crap) for a pittance but I was not sad. It was cool for a kid. But for the adult ... Watching is better than buying this ... New crap.
