OK I'm sorry but this story sounds awesome haha. Also, eventually they did make Penguin into some kind of engineer in the miniseries *"Penguin: Pain and Prejudice"* where he builds dozens of mechanical penguins that fly and attack children! P. S. Loved the Spidey cameo in Nerd Sync's video, Sal!

Great reading of a rather silly story. I've read that Grant didn't like using the traditional rogues because he couldn't make them serious and this story shows that fact. Nonetheless, some pages in this issues are amazing and worth reading. Breyfogle was great. ALSO, it seems like Kadaver died here, but then he makes a cameo appearance in The Last Arkham, so I guess he didn't really die? Anyways, great video!

Nah, apparently he made it a little while longer and THEN died. He spent the entirety of his life trying to get revenge on Penguin, and never met up with him again.

Why do I get the feeling Tim Burton read this comic cause there is some similarities between this book and Batman Returns such as the whole The Penguin has actual Penguins and the whole The Penguin working with another villain who has other plans. At least Max Shrek (Christopher Walken's character) didn't die in a men's room but he did die in a sewer.

I would love to see a Scott Snyder version of Cadaver, like Crazy Quilt. Maybe he'd be a power plant worker who was faced with a potential meltdown because of his carelessness or recklessness. He had the knowledge/ability to stop the meltdown from happening but chickened out because it would cost him his life. So some young newbie volunteers to go into the irradiated part of the plant. Maybe the suit they wear was damaged by Cadaver, who was too lazy/complacent to get it replaced. So the newbie fixes the problem but is horribly burned and now insane from agony. He tries to get help from Cadaver, grabbing his skull and burning him. Cadaver reacts with panic and violence. After the fact, he suffers extreme survivor's guilt and suicidal tendencies combined with an obsession with death. But no cape.

Back issues on rock of ages and dc metal and secret empire and talk about the build up with the captain America solo series that was good and the face secret empire seem like it was written at the end that was not the greater of the story idea

Now that I know Cadaver was a thing I know that within six months he'll be in a Batman book...what's worse is I now have a pitch (basically make him a Criminal Minds Unsub of the week, uses hypnotic suggestion to catatonic victims, horrible shit etc. have a sidekick take him out one issue). What the fuck are you doing to me ComicPOP? I just wasted brainpower on Cadaver?! Thanks.

8:45: I mean, 1989 Comic Con (assuming Comic Con exists in the DCU) was 11,000 people, and we see he has only 9 death umbrellas ready for sale. 9 people of 11,000 wanting a death umbrella? I'd still say that's plausible.
