Captain Bilal Zafar Abbasi (1982-2009) (Urdu: بلال ظفر‬) was a Pakistan Army officer who received Sitara-e-Basalat on the 62nd Independence Day of Pakistan.He was a Captain in the 42 Baloch Regiment(MIB).
Operation Rah-e-Rast began in May 2009 and involved the Pakistan Army and Taliban militants in a fight for control of the Swat district of Pakistan.The SSG started an operation 'Janbaz' to clear Swat valley from militants. His company was given the task to clear Swat-Peochar Road. During this operation, Captain Bilal Zafar embraced shahadat on 17 May, 2009. He was hit by a rocket launcher on his chest.
One day after his death, he was buried in his native village Kehror Kotli Sattian on 18 May, 2009.The Government of Pakistan announced the Sitara-e-Basalat for him on the 62nd Independence Day of Pakistan.

We all were born with a free will to choose. Remember that Allah created us all equally but wars and religions separated us. If Allah represents love then why would he ask us to die for him? This soldier and many others before him, lost their lives because they were not brave enough to say, "No" to their superiors. Wake up to the lies you have been made to believe being the only truths. A brave soldier is the one who stands up against the injustice!!! In this case is a repetitive pattern of soldiers being killed and replaced by a new batch of soldiers. Can't you see what's hidden? This pattern can only be broken by an abrupt change in actions of these soldiers. They must surrender to Allah's love, guidance, wisdom and protection.

Three things came in my mind after watching this: 1- May Allah bless this brave soul and accept his shahada 2- Its a great loss for parents but they are really brave and matchless parents who brought up their son as a lion. 3- The amazing attitude of our neighbours who are showing respect in the comments.
