If the production of "Death's Game" maintains the quality of Season 2, this could become the best KDrama I have ever watched this year or possibly ever, and that's saying a lot coming from a KDrama addict of more than 25 years. I am utterly speechless about it. Every aspect, from the way it delicately approaches the sensitive topic of death to the superb production, writing, and the stellar performances of all the actors portraying different lives with Choi Yee-Jae, is exceptional. As a Christian, I am impressed with how this KDrama addresses crucial questions about the choices people make in their lives. It delves into where many of us may ultimately end up due to our selfish nature and lack of faith in God. I highly recommend watching it.

@@kdramaforyou Part 1 of "Death’s Game" was superb from Episode 1-4. The elements, in terms of the quality of the production and the excellence of the talents of the actors, are still very much present in its Part 2 Episode 1-4. Unfortunately, my apprehension that the scriptwriter or the production may not be brave enough to push the envelope to the maximum and really state the obvious of who can truly save people from our own selves did happen. Thus, the ending wasn’t as strong as I had hoped it would be. I can understand that, of course, the production is probably careful not to ruffle some feathers of those who do not totally believe in God; thus, it only focused on the lessons of why one should not take his own life as it is indeed a selfish act. I am just disappointed that the opportunity to emphasize Jesus Christ as the only one who truly holds mankind’s redemption from all the capital sins that people commit, as reflected in the entire story, didn’t happen. The writer failed to hit the mark of what could have been a much valuable and stronger end message, rather than just tackling the actual effects of suicide on the lives of the people you left behind and missing one’s opportunity to live one’s life well. Having said that, in totality, it is still one of the best Korean dramas I’ve watched in my more than 25 years as a KDrama addict, considering it tackled a very sensitive topic of humanity and spirituality in such unique and effective ways. RATING of PART 1: 10/10 RATING of PART 2: 9/10
