In one of the earlier episodes, death explains that he enters the body at a “saved” point in the life of the person. The person him/herself has already lived out their lives. Or at least that’s what I think they said. Death basically compared life to a video game and said he enters it at a saved point, I remember that part clearly.
When Death explained what happened to the original person's soul, she compared it to a video game. It was like the person had already lived it's life fully until the moment they died and it's implied that their soul had already moved on. Then, Death's reverse time a little as though the body had a "save point" and puts Lee Jae's soul into the body. But by that time the original soul had already moved on to the afterlife and the body is just a shell to be inhabited by Lee Jae's soul.
i really liked the discussion you guys had in the end and how summer talked about "death being contagious" and how the way that we die doesn't have to be the way our lead did. the show has a lot of lessons and i thought it was kind of poetic that he was physically born through his mom and then "reborn" through her again when he had his epiphany. and that the way he came back to life was the same way he ended it (through death). the series as a whole exceeded my expectations i wasn't expecting it to be so good and sadly no other new kdrama has managed to come close yet this year for me. love you guys, can't wait to see more reactions from you two.
Suicide was his choice, and a car accident that ruined an important job interview with a company was also the result of his own making. And it awakened the psychopath's instincts and caused his girlfriend to be killed. The lesson is that fate is what you create.
Too much dopamine… His mom could’ve died from the fall on the mountain, but he managed to survive. In other lives, he wasn’t really focused on survival. Even Super Cop risked his life a little too easily. He didn't have to confront the criminal like that. It seems to me, in his past lives, his priorities were not survival, but always something else; money, love, revenge, etc. That reminds me of how people forget the most important thing while pursuing something else.”
Surprisingly, it has been reported that Korea’s suicide rate is the highest among member nations of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.. 😢 What's the reason? “The only escape from the miseries of life are music and cats...” ― Albert Schweitzer 🐾
idk .. they don't show the face only hand, could be he become somebody else ? but i love the message that this series gave to us thank you for the reaction !
fr the ending was eh but show was cool wish tho but in the end there was his voice saying mom when the mom called him so I think it’s him but wish there was more but ofc the show and stuff was cool
Please consider watching MOUSE K-Drama if you're into Thrillers! It's a Psychological Thriller and It's such a well written and original series that you'll absolutely love it. I loved how logically the show was written. And the plot twists were INSANE dude! I mean I just can't describe in words how well written the each and every single episode was!! I never felt bored. It kept me so hooked that I even cried out of FRUSTRATION! It has literally every Genre in It and as for Thriller lovers it's a TREAT! You'll never be able to guess its story. You just need some patience until 5-6 episodes to watch this series, after that you won't be able to stop yourself to watch it till the end.
I believe the souls of the bodies he enter have already gone to the afterlife heaven. I think it was a beautiful story that shows you the perspective of different people towards death. We can understand the depression and loneliness that led him to commit suicide but we can also see the perspective of those around him and their pain and the things we take for granted. I think the main message is you are not alone and sometimes you are stuck only looking in our bubble and we don’t see what’s outside our bubble and all those that we affect with our decisions. I think my favorite part is the girlfriend saying that you are only living if you are being yourself or something like that and also the scene with the homeless body asking who he is and he doesn’t even know anymore.
I understand the message of this show but I wonder how ppl with mental illnesses (depression) would think about it. They have different reasons for thinking abt sui..de rather than the MC, so I think the show is not for everyone (at least on the point that it can impact everyone)
