Fantastic stuff my friend! Turned out so great!! What tune do you have playing during the CNCing? Never mind . . . You put it in the comments cause you are awesome!!! Love that !
Nice I just got the MillRight MegaV. Hahahaha! I won't lie that your build video inspired me! Dig your channel! Make! Make mistakes! Show mistakes are ok and part of the process! Good job man! Keep it up!
Thinking about getting a CNC Machine- what type of router bit did you use for this door? I can't stop watching your videos- great source for inspiration!
I have an Openbuild Workbee 1510 with a Dewalt DWP611 router. I have since extended the workspace with new linear rails and lead screws, instead of wheels and belts. The CNC has been discontinued and a newer model is now available named the Openbuilds Lead 1010 and 1015. Thanks for the kind words as well!!
This is amazing. I was curious, is this a part-time thing you do or is it your full-time job. Cause if you get paid to do stuff like this, then I know what to do for my job!
You would start with a design using a vector program like Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape. From there talk with the person at the workshop as he/she will have certain dimensions that they are able to work with. They will also have to turn your design into something that the CNC machine can read, (gcode). Hope that helps!
