I built almost the whole highway after seeing people adding materials in them. 5 hours well spent. The Bridges Trucks can carry so much it's ridiculous.
Ha, yeah.... now I wish we had zip-lines and exosuit harnesses to carry more packages in Star Citizen! (and for those who don't know, it also has a delivery loop, but much more simplified. You can, however, use a vehicle known as a Mule to carry up to six packages at a time, but some of the Death Stranding equipment would really come in handy).
@@billywashere6965 I love Star Citizen, and I hope that Star Citizen adds Death Stranding's walking mechanics. Speaking for myself: I see Star Citizen as a fairly unique project in the landscape of software -- more on the order of an Operating System, than a typical software project. I compare Star Citizen to a cathedral, which is an object of religious dedication that takes generations to complete, rather than a project to be begun and finished in a short course. So if Star Citizen takes 15 years to integrate Death Stranding like movement mechanics, I would consider it time and money well spent.
@@LionKimbro They have similar mechanics now based on the weight of the object you're carrying, the topography, and the weather. So you might notice in snow going uphill, your character will struggle and you may have to shift your movement around to get to your detination. However, it would be nice if you had a slightly more robust movement system similar to Death Stranding for vaulting, climbing (although, to be fair, CIG is already working on this so this is kind of a moot want). I also can't wait for the Ranger, which will functoin very similar to Death Stranding's motorcycle, where you can carry multiple packages on the vehicle. Sadly, the Ranger won't be making its way into the game until the tire/wheel rework is done.
@@billywashere6965 Heh.. Not just the weight of the objects you're carrying, vs the weather, ... But also: the weight of your SHIP, vs. the weather.. ;D ;D ;D
@@trayoibry8246 Thats because its long af. just be patient and try to enjoy the scenery. put on some music too. the game is meant to be about exploration and carrying stuff efficiently youll find the appeal eventually specially near the end
When I first started it I was like man f this game it’s too complex but I stuck with it I’m on episode 6 just finished bringing mama to lockne, I’ve got the trikes, truck, traversing legs all the other legs the weapons etc yeah I love this game it’s so badass absolutely smashing and I got it on sale for $20…I am having an amazing time and still learning how to be more efficient. I thought Elden ring was the best game ever but this blows Elden Ring out of the water
For a walking simulator I really enjoy all the elements they've added. Even for other action packed games they do not come near to have this game has equipped
@@MrHeat48 yup certainly something to look forward in considering now in late game he has been encountering more combat and if they do release a sequel seeing kojima will never let me us down. Seems promising we can see some more action stealth
There are so many different things that contribute to your balance, comfort, and ease of transporting things just on your character. The way you pack your stuff can make a bit of a difference just on your normal travel. Granted I'm building a Zipline network to counteract having to do anything, but the hidden mechanics are crazy.
@@maximelearning oh yeah, the placement of your items even determines how fast they deteriorate in timefall. You actually want to manually pack stuff to better protect the cargo you're moving.
Would be quicker to just use a zipline lol... However... if these could shoot cross-map and they removed the distance limit of your stuff disappearing, so long as it's in one of these pods... then there'd be some real value. Make it unlock "after" beating the game, and use it for maxing the remaining shelters far quicker.
Well kind of. I can imagine it being helpful when repairing structures on mountain tops and/or upgrading difficult to reach ziplines so they connect for max range... But in the end, we all know what it's meant for: shooting random crap at mules :D
So I played the original version of the game when it launched, and I picked up the directors cut to play again. I just got the catapult and I just don't see a practical use for it. Zip lines seem a lot handier.
They used make delivery with drones and it caused some kind of paranoia among people for not being able to have human interaction, and people didn't really like the like the idea of robots taking the jobs of human, it was also more than likely for mules to intercept these deliveries made by drones and the increased chiral density in the air made it impossible for transporting packages with drones or planes, so they eventually made a complete switch back to human deliveries
@@xcrusad3rx395 Well I have finished the game already And to be honest I don't see how I would need this thing, cause my ziplines spread across the entire map
@@Squidberries I think he had a PCC2, could have built one one and connected to the one on the hill. Otherwise I am not sure if your question is rhetorical lol
@@StackReacher It was rhetorical. Like if there wasn't one up on the mountain already, you could shoot your cargo up there to make it easier to climb, then you'd set your own zipline up there to make it easier to get back down.
@@RealActorMoCap no i mean the places the story goes is everything but nothing matters because nothing is fucking changed in the end its literally just mission accomplished
hey just wondering since I own the original game should I get this DC? What’s new about this DC version instead of the original one? if same story just a few new constructions then I pass this version
There are a few added constructions/weapons and some new deliveries/questlines but it's not really worth it if you played the original a lot. Unless you want a new challenge as the new difficulty really make the game more "survival" (you gotta manage a lot more Sam's stamina, carefully plan your orders and your gear...)
I haven't got the original special edition, but this version allowed me to have all the golden / silver gear and suits wich is cool. And graphics look much better
@@NiksTotalNight Как минимум есть постройки которые разбавляют геймлей, тем самым, упрощая его и делают интереснее саму игру.
