Exactly haha! I clicked on this being like" 8min trailer? I guess like 5min of logos or some reveal announcer talking" and then no, no actually 8min of quality content that really just expands upon the questions that I already have after the last what 2 years
It's actual an reference to Sam because he's "Connecting people without Shaking hands" like a rope a strand ..n the line is said by Higgs who are literally ripping peoples apart by Creating void outs
Dane Amussen but he shows his face at the cast scene... quite disappointed they reveal Troy baker’s face. It’ll be a great surprise if they keep it until the game
you don't know really, maybe there was a scene from the last part of the game, but since we don't know anything about it, we assume there was not a single spoiler
Playing this in the middle of the lockdown in my country, with all the chaos and the fear of simple things like going to get food... it was a surreal experience. Was the right game for that moment of history.
Which was kind of crazy I remember I put the most time into death stranding during the lockdown and seeing the game blow up since we were all in the same boat. During those frightful times this was helpful. I think somebody already said this but it was absolutely surreal.
“It’s like Miles Morales in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Miles thinks he is the only Spider-Man, then different characters from different alternate dimensions" Hideo kojima
@@ezclap1445 Interesting, my opinion was exactly the opposite. I loved their names, even before playing the game. They give off that typical Kojima vibe and it was clear to me right away that there must be some meaning behind them.
go have a read at some theories on reddit and youll have a better Idea altho it would be much better to experience it by yourself when the game comes out
"Let's make a video game with all of the sci-fi concepts." "All of them?" "Pretty much yeah. And all of the celebrities." "...all of them?" "Pretty much yeah."
It’s about making connections and rebuilding society to make it stronger, but the problem with that is that there’s a bunch of dumpster babies and ink monsters
Seems like humanity (at least the US) is fragmented. Each new faction now has some sort of "walls" (taken from Kojima's new breakdown). And this is about trying to come together and end whatever broke them up. Seems like babies are bred to go to an alternate dimension where time seems to not matter. It's also possible the Moon is some sort of safe haven for humanity.
Idk man pt would have been nice. They should have fired him AFTER. Thats the one gaming related wound that will never heal. And everytimeI see a silent hill pachinko machine, its like taking a handful of salt and cramming it in the wound.
I honestly hope it stays as secret as this until release. The story will feel so much more heavy and impactful unspoiled. Or maybe it still won't make any sense even after playing through it😅
@@RisingAssassin I have a felling we still won't have any idea even after the game releases. I mean, it took us several metal gears for we to know what the heck was going on.
@@masteroak9724 I wouldn't be surprised. In any case, the cast is loaded and the graphics look amazing! Whether or not I understand it after playing it or at my 92nd birthday party I'm still very excited to experience this game!
I love this: Rain seems to speed up time (see the crow aging in seconds, plants growing fast when a ghost appears, ground becoming petroleum, etc), so, to not be affected by it, people use plastic coating to protect themselves because plastic degradation lasts about a century. I'm impressed by Kojima's ideas and I envy his taste in music.
@@retiredcaptain2078 Call or duty is mainstream, of course it's going to be a trendier topic in the gaming world. Death stranding is still gaining a lot of traction among gamers.
@@blueboxgamestudios5349 so old cod campains are like probably gonna be better than this games also fifa doesnt have a campain and battle royale has its own campaign but i wouldnt call it a campain
If you can't make up your mind to what this game's about after watching this trailer you should watch this trailer again. If that doesn't help try to listen better when watching the 3rd time, if that doesn't work you're not the target audience of this game.
It looks like it has to do a lot with time going back into time staying connected through some trippy machine trying to fix the future without ducking up past to much ... I just smoked a fatty 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
This game has taught me how removed people are from recognizing real art. It’s a masterpiece. About a third of the way into the game I got the collectors edition.
I wonder how many people came here, afraid that the situation with the new virus will escalate and we will sit in our shelters, waiting for the cargo from porters like Sam
@legato It's a Kojima game, even if you play and beat this you won't understand it, even if it gets several sequals and prequals you'll still barely understand anything. I don't think even Kojima knows what it's about.
So I think there are many dimensions and people who know how to connect them back together, but nobody can agree on which sides to connect. So there are different organizations with their own views. There must have been an explosion that divided both spirit and living realms from themselves as well as introduced both sides to eachother. Sam is connecting all the humans and that other guy is either connecting all the dead or trying to prevent Sam for some reason. That's why when Sam dies he never truly dies. Because both realms are still connected and he could just cross back over. I think the newborns can see the spirit realm because they have just crossed from the spirit realm containing some way to see them
This trailer still gets me. There’s so much about this game I love. I just think Kojima needs an editor. But the wrong editor would ruin what makes Kojima unique. He needs someone that is completely on his wavelength, and understands him, but can express these ideas with more subtlety.
@@He11Jumper exactly, I loved the idea but the execution was a hot mess. The world seemed so interesting but was undercut by a lack of coherence. Walls of text, hours of cutscenes, but no *meaningful substance* to speak of. I really hope this game isn’t a one-off, we need to see this world from inside the walls of its cities - Inside the prepper homes, inside the packages and lives of its individuals, and see how your deliveries ACTUALLY impact things instead of getting a lazy jargon-filled hologram with 0 lip syncing behind it.
lol no, i already knew you would resurrect as a baby in the game if youd die, thats the respawn system because babies are pure and are not detected by the death
"Humans aren't made for living alone. They’re supposed to come together, to help one another. And if we as people can’t do that, if we can't reconnect... That's what we need right now, not to stand apart but to come together." In these times people could really appreciate those words as I do. But maybe I'm another species or something but people have never liked me so I have failed to connect with people because people have been social distancing from me long before Covid-19. And sometimes I feel so lonely and sad that I don't see any hope for me.
same, I eventually just rolled with it; I have stuff to do, I may as well deliver... and maybe through some purpose give something positive to people. Gratitude, Peace and Love, reciprocity means everything is all-right.
