I like your explanations, especially when you go into theory and why something works the way it does. If somebody doesn't need this kind of information, they can watch some youtube covers in slow-mo instead of a LESSON. So please, do point out stuff that you find tasteful, creative and interesting and tell us how and why it works. Thank you, keep up the great work!
I've been playing for 3years and My buddy who has been playing for 20years is amazed at what I've learned in just a short amount of time. I told him to check you out and he agrees your lessons are very informative, easy to follow, and accurate. The songs you teach are also what I listen to and play or at least try to play. Now while this lesson is great I like the previous format... I AM NOT SELF TOUGHT..GUITAR FORCE TOUGHT ME....THANK ALEX.. KEEP TEACHING AND I'LL KEEP LEARNING
Hi Alex, Thank you for continuing to make these video lessons. As for a comment on the style of lessons, I, too, like it better when you explain things more. When you're talking, it's not a bunch of "fluff." It's all relevant and helpful information. Just my "2 cents." Thank you again!!
i love the DEATH lessons. noone is teaching them, and honestly if it wasnt for death, there wouldnt be a lot of bands today. if you could, id greatly appreciate a lesson on "scavenger of human sorrow" and "flesh and the power it holds" from the sound of perserverance. thanks so much! keep on kicking ass!
I like this better than your other videos where you play with the actual song and you can tell what's going on..your other videos with the drum machine might be the correct bpms but sometimes it's hard to put them together
hey! it would be great if you did more death tutorials like "the flesh and the power it holds" or "bite the pain" death is definitely harder to play then other bands but would be great to have some tutorials on them!
Another great lesson Alex. As for the change, i personally don't see it. I think the lessons are informative and well done. I would only say it's better to err on the side of too much information then not enough. But, that's just my humble opinion.
what do you use to record because the video and sound sounds great i want to make videos of me playing but the sound sucks so if u can give me some pointers i would be thankfull
your explain is excellent I'm see you like DEATH is my favorite band but I'm hope so you play more band band of death metal icon like cannibal corpse, deicide, morbid angel, carccas. you know what I'm talking about the ICONS of death metal band of the 80s and early 90s
+Fernando Lara I think there is a Carcass song explained if you look through the list of videos. I'd definitely like to see lessons for the stuff on Heartwork and Surgical Steel. Also the stuff from Morbid Angel's Altars of Madness and Covenant. So many great metal guitar riffs out there.
