Both old models of meggy and SMG3 probably arent scrapped since SMG3 used to be a recolor and meggy's old model was taken from splatoon, but technically her design never changed completely because lore

in the ending of the its gotta be perfect movie smg4 had two choices 1.save the pendrive that contains the perfect video and become mega popular and left smg3 to eaten alive by that "keyboard parasite"or 2.save smg3 and leave the pendrive to be eaten alive by the "keyboard parasite"

3.save both smg3 and a flash drive, when smg4 had a flash drive moving out smg3 could catch a flash drive and it was possible to save both a flash drive and smg3
