My favorite type of troopers, they're awesone looking and they look mean but when they have to kill a main character i wish that star wars never existed because they die so pathetically
The plot armour really shows when they go up against a main character. What they need to do is give them a real fight and tone It down, like the DT fight in Ahsoka given the fact that they are already dead so are sloppy had they been alive I would've liked to seen a more tactical approach I.e cover, grenades.
@@guy-mp50 Yeah you're right they were, but its kinda like comparing apples to oranges. Death troopers would of received better training in a variety of tactics, had a lot more funding and underwent genetic augmentations. Yeah, the movie didn't really do them justice (plot Armour) but if we were to just go off of statistics they should be better than Mandalorians in almost every way, even the old republic Era.
@@tema6821 Death Troopers are canonically OP af, and I hope we get to see them portrayed as such at some point. They’re only a level or so below the Praetorian Guard in terms of training, and those guys killed the most badass Mandalorian to ever live (suck it Boba and Jango fans lol)
In the movies, DT's are actually portrayed quite poorly, as weak units. DT's are actually really fucking dangerous. There's a reason they were chosen to guard the HICOM of the Galactic Empire, they were absolute units. Really underrated, and lot of unused potential in my opinion.
From what I remember of Rebels DTS like every other unit are made to be incompetent due to plot imo. Rouge one on the other hand shows just how effective they can be when they were deployed to the beach on Scarif.
Fr, it wouldn't even be a fight, more like an execution. No character in SW could survive a squad of these and in current Rogue One meta none can (Vader and Emperor maybe)
I loved the zombie Death trooper part in Ashoka I hope one day we get a live action Starweird Death Troopers and Starweirds are my favorite bit of creepy Star Wars lore
Long live the Empire and it's feared Death Trooper Division! Definitly my personal favorite visual deseign of the Imperial Armed Forces. Who's with me on that?!
Good! Glad to see my comment was apreciated. There are other variations of the standard Stormtrooper design such as: the Range trooper, the Magma trooper, the Costal Defense trooper and the Patrol trooper that are intresting in their aesthetic design too.
I do very much like the more tactical design the death troopers bring with actually having a chest rig to hold mags + grenades just makes their armour much more real, also the added scrambler is chefs kiss on top
@@Mirqz Certainly. I noticed in The Bad Batch Season One that the ES troopers, or Élite Squad troopers, have a design that resembles the future Death Troopers in the colour of their armour and green-tinted visors.
@@xD00TD00Txcorrect these are the same 2 DTs Ezra kills in the final episode of Rebels a nice call back (mind you their armour should have withstanded those bolts)
My friend said "they have portrated death troopers the way they should have portrated the original stormtroopers." If that is so, then i can hardly imagine how dangerous canonically theese troops are. Facing them must resault in PTSD if you stay alive after that.
@@Mirqz Watched it, and honestly, the first Death Trooper was acceptable but the second one got clowned on like in Rebels. But its a fan-film so its acceptable.
@@Mirqz The first une got his helmet knocked away by a branch, but almost killed the girl and the Jedi. The second one, however, somehow got killed by the girl when she was cuffed.
