An arrest is made by seizing or touching the body." - Websters 1828 Dictionary. But death has not been seized yet, otherwise, why do we still die? And it will continue to be around, even during the 1000 year reign of Christ on Earth. It isn't until *this* point where death is "arrested" and then thrown into the lake of fire: "And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And *death* and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." - Revelation 20:11-14 Sounds lovely and all but is it true? No. Death is still freely moving. However, though the body may die our soul will live forever, if we are truly born again, and one day we will be given a new body. And though the Lord does have the keys to death and hell, Revelation 1:18, why sing a lie? "Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar." - Proverbs 30:6 "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." - 2 Timothy 2:15 Consider it carefully.
