The Spooky Strictly Swing (SSS) is the highlight of the Spooky Westie Weekend!
Competitors must register with a partner. We want SSS to be about the costumes, the fun of dancing and the theme! So we are enforcing a high-low rule for partnership:
Advanced / All-Star dancers must partner a Novice dancer.
Intermediates can partner other Intermediate dancers or Novice dancers.
Novice dancers can partner anyone.
Judges will evaluate couples based on the following criteria:
50% - Theatrics, showmanship costume and ‘dancing in theme’
50% - West Coast Swing Timing, Technique and Teamwork
*Costumes are mandatory.
*Lifts are allowed.
