nytimes was reporting the hunter has been encouraging him to stay in. and that hunter is one of his most trusted advisors. because that's a person who makes good choices. in 2020 i viewed jill biden as a lady macbeth figure since it was clear at that point that he was declining. i don't know. maybe she thinks that she is achieving something his former self wanted and is doing it for legacy. honestly who knows.

Gretchen who will not win with only a few months to go. Neither Gavin. Obama was a good orator with charisma, plus a lot of stage time. The race card also played in his favor. If you need to pull out Biden, only Michelle can give Dems a fighting chance (may not win). Dems should have run a robust primary. Even if they had a favorite, he/she needed the time.
