I've seen us play some absolute shite in the 90s and very grateful of what has happened over the last few years. The 115 shit is off the pitch stuff and nothing to do with the players. I know its important but its not a squad issue. Arsenal have been incredible this season and it will happen soon for them. My issue is the fans expecting it and being self entitled that they think they deserve to win. Its really hard to win over 38 games and you've got close. All teams go through their phase. Liverpool had the 80s, United had the 90s and 2000s, Chelsea had the 2000s, Arsenal had the 90s and 2000s, and City have had the 2010s and early 2020s. In majority of the recent titles, besides the liverpool 19/20, if city would have lost / drew 1 game rather than win, the title winner would have been different. Arsenal 22/23 would have been the same if they didn’t capitulate at the end. So if the difference between a “competitive” and “uncompetitive” is 1 win, it sounds like the argument is driven more by envy than actual results

I think this is pretty pathetic, Arsenal were in the driving seat for that majority of last season, they bottled it and suddenly the conversation becomes about how Man City ruined the premier league. Arsenal fans were celebrating taking points off City like it was some amazing achievement. When in reality we usually lose at Spurs every season and have a poor record at Anfield. One off games don’t win you titles. It’s the consistency over 38 games and if you can maintain that under pressure Feb-May. Arsenal did better this year but they dropped too many points in games they should have won again and City then did what City do best, win a load of games at the end of the season. City haven’t ruined football, they’ve won more titles in the final day than any club. United getting 80 points and winning it by 10 points was far more boring, City getting 90+ points and Liverpool and then Arsenal being within 2 points of each other on the last day of the season and having to win 9,10,11,12 games at the end of the season to win it is far better standard.

Actually a a mature football conversation. The league isn’t boring if the title race is going down to the final day between 2 top teams, like it was in 18-19 and 21-22 as well. Arsenal are a great side but they just lack the world class players in their position, like Rodri and Haaland are the best in their positions in the world. Saka and Odegaard are wonderful players but are they world class yet? Arsenal also need a striker like Vlahovic for example who is physical and can be clinical. Also feel that once arsenal get their first, a second will follow as they have been in the wilderness towards the end of Wenger from 2014-18 and Emery/ Arteta early days 2019-2021.
