I fondly remember a CoC funeral I attended for a relative. A CoC relative told me that she hated going to CoC funerals because there were no musical instruments to drown out the horrible singers, and, as far as she knew, she was the only CoC relative that could carry a tune in a bucket. I guffawed when I heard her caterwauling right next to me, assuming she could actually sing. Lol. But it did make me wonder if more CoC members wished there were musical instruments in their singing at church.
How in heaven's name, can this even be up for debate? The bible, particularly the Psalms is full of references to musical instruments and worship of God. Unbelievable how some 'christians' can elevate 'tradition' over bible truth.

@@vinson6337 you know what? I challenge you to use the Bible and show me ONE passage to support your position. My beliefs are not formed from watching RU-vid videos. They come from The Book of Truth. God's Word. Read the book of Psalms and get back to me.
@@vinson6337 you approach your videos with a pre-concieved opinion, then build your case around your religious tradition. You find what you want, to say or build support for your tradition. That is backwards. Use God's Word in it's entirety, in context and then adjust to that. In context, there is NOT one shred of evidence to support your position. It is all man made tradition. Period. Psalms is conclusive proof.
I'm a member of the church of Christ and even I don't understand the reason why you can't have a simple piano especially when you have hymnals with notes on them the new testament doesn't say to anything about it so we are to make a joyfully noise but a tune wouldn't hurt😊
