Manorial system can be seen as another difference by which the peasants and lord had an economic relation. Manorial system was a direct result of lack of money economy and other factors which we had mentioned for rise of feudalism in Europe

Harbans Mukhia takes these factors into consideration while he compares them in India and Europe. He questions a standard similarity (while ignoring differences) to the two economic system given by some historians under the name of Feudalism.
