xxPhilips my answer will come from an Islamic stand point and it’s the Quran. We Muslims believe and claim that the Quran is the literal words of God, and since Allah is all knowing, all powerful then Allah in the Quran says Jesus was raised and saved from crucification, I would have to believe it’s true. You will have to challenge that the Quran is not the words of God to disapprove the Islamic narratives on Jesus.

The Apostles saw Jesus after he was resurrected and Thomas challenged Jesus who showed his wounds from the crucifixion. Not one one deciple ever refuted Jesus' resurrection. Jesus is the only one known for healing people and raising someone from the dead as he raised Lazarus who had been dead for days and his body was disintegrating. No one else spoke ideas unique in Jesus's day such as loving your neighbor.

What God is is the owner of majesty and perfection and he is the Almighty Creator of the heavens and earth, he created death and life and his perfect attributes never change, GOD IS IMMORTAL HE DOES NOT DIE, what God does however, he does as he wills in his infinite wisdom, Almighty Allah is far above his creation and does as he pleases, Almighty Allah is able to forgive the sin of his servants through his infinite mercy without any pagan like sacrifices let alone attributing partners or a son to the Almighty who is unlike his creation or anything that the mind can imagine that is the ultimate injustice/blasphemy to God and is a very grave sin (if one does not repent from it before death). Christianity is a word that came well after Jesus pbuh left as he did not call himself that and it was then heavily influenced by the pagan traditions of that time much after Jesus pbuh was gone. Then the corruption and confusion in the bible began, that's why you find many different books and gospels by so called men such as Paul who claim to have had "visions" and or "inspiration" from God, altered the true message that Jesus pbuh originally preached to the lost tribe of Israel and not to humanity which was to worship one God as he said he did not come to abolish the law. Also the arrival of the prophet mohamed pbuh was mentioned in the bible as the paraclete which means the comforter the counselor. Hope this helped. peter pan hey Peter Pan, if you read the Old Testament you can see that the Israelites would sacrifice animals (lambs, doves) etc. They did this as a command from God the father, pretty much killing an innocent animal ( which represented Jesus Christ who died in the future) the Old Testament all points to a man who would come to sacrifice his life for the sins of the world. If you look at the sanctuary in the Old Testament, you will see it was all symbolizing the real sacrifice that Jesus suffered. Islam was prophecied in the bible in the book of revelation as well, if you read the bible to find error and to purposely look for contradictions, it will be difficult to see truth because you are coming with a proud heart. If you take Jesus and his sacrifice for the sins of the world, if you remove him from the equation, as shabir said that we do not need an innocent man to die or we don’t need anyone, then what was the point of the sanctuary in the Old Testament? Which points to a coming messiah. The enemy, SATAN, does not want to acknowledge Christ’s sacrifice, if the enemy can make you believe that Jesus did not die, even though Jesus himself said that no one can go to the father but by him, then you reject Jesus, that’s exactly what Satan wants. But when it comes to this topic, I don’t know, it feels like shabir no doubt a skilled and disciplined debater. BUT, If you base your truth and your foundation on what men say, you are not building a sure foundation. Jesus said the wise man builds his house upon the rock. Mike didn't even have an opponent in this debate. Mike didn't even use the Gospels as evidence, while Shabir never answered properly to the statements and evidence provided by Mike and only tried to attack the Gospels, when they weren't even being referenced.

Dr. Ally made numerous references to the gospels to show contradictions and in some instances to disprove the notions put forth by Christian’s, such as the crucifixion, original sin theory. As for Mike, the truth isn’t on his side. He showed up and tried and made a lot of assumptions, which require a leap of faith to believe. Simply too many contradictions and forgeries in Bible to overcome.

Just compare the behaviors of Christ to the behaviors of Mohammad and I think you will see who is holy , true, and believable. Jesus was one of many prophets sent to Mankind to put him back on track, as people kept going back to their old established ways after each prophet died. The SUN of God is the savior... If the SUN of God does not rise and bring light to the world, the world would be a frozen desolate place without life without polysynthesis, and life would not exist. It was the Church inder control of ROME that made the SUN of God into the SON of God. It was a grand deception by the Elite to control the population. The real Gnostic Unitarian Christians were slaughtered by the thousand by the Church even as late as the 15th century. The Church murdered philosophers and men of science to silence them. Jesus never heard of nor mentioned any trinity, Though trinities existed in some 16 earlier religions that Vhristianity borrowed from as it was useful to unite people by incorporating earlier pagan beliefs that people were happy with. The unification required such a compromise. But it was a deception that continues to this day. How could Jesus have sacrificed himself for man as he himself denies this. If you don't believe me, read Mark 14. The pharisees ask Jesus if he is the Son of God to which Jesus says "I am," then says that he is, "The son of man coming with the clouds of heaven" (a reference to Daniel 7, a prophesy of God coming to Earth incarnate) and claims he will be "seated at the place of power at God's right hand" (a reference to Psalms 110 where it's revealed that only God is worthy of sitting st God's right hand). Jesus then went on to be accused for blasphemy (again, something he didn't deny) and was sentenced to death since Jews at the time thought blasphemy was unforgivable. Jesus absolutely claimed to be God just as Paul preached. If you don't think Jesus was a liar, you have to proclaim that Jesus is indeed the Son of God and the Son of Man (God incarnate)

My heart breaks for those that genuinely desire a relationship with God, and are struggling. But If you don't believe in Qur'an and your don't believe in the Injeel, then you have made your choice. The Qur'an tells you that the Injeel is the word of God. The Qur'an tells you that the Bible is the word of God. Only Muslims have to figure out how to harmonize there beliefs and it's not that difficult. It's only difficult for those Muslims that put fear of man and pride of Religion above relationship with God. @solomon duncan I don't disagree with the mixing of light and dark. And I do expect to be heart broken often with this community. But Saul spent an important part of his career attacking the church, but his zeal for God allowed him to be used as a tool. Some Muslims really desire a relationship with God. Many of them unfortunately have greater pride and idolize Religion and community over God. But I do desire for Muslim to actually follow the part of the Qur'an that says to believe in the Bible, or the part of the Qur'an that's says do not believe in some prophets and reject the others. I believe God created an escape hatch even in the plans of the deceiver. And the enemy has spent it's energy attacking the escape door and Muslims are either afraid and confused (in expectation of judgement) or complacent and prideful (following the anti-Christ). The Bible told us this would happen. But we must attack the Spiritual ramparts of the enemy and create escape routes into the truth in all Religions to Christ so that at least some may be saved from certain damnation.

I only wish to be a tool for giving the word of God to Muslims that God has elected. I could compare my desires to that of Paul, he became like a Jew to win Jews even though Jewish meant nothing, he became like the poor in spirit to win the poor in spirit even though he be rich in faith. But only justice exists in the Qur'an alone, I cannot find salvation in it. So I hope there are more lost sheep destined for salvation in different pens (gates) like Islam that need to hear the word of God, that need to receive the Gospel. I have listened to the testimonies of some Muslims who were saved. The harvest is still ripe until our Lord God returns. We must fight.

Also in the book of Acts Paul entered the Athenian Council and quoted from their stoic Philosophers in hope to shine a light towards the truth. There are verses in the Quran that can be used for the same purpose. And all must hear the Gospel, including Muslims. And We have prepared for the disbelievers a humiliating punishment." Muslims need to believe in all the scripture that came before it. But by their own words they will testify against themselves on the day of judgement if they do not believe in the Bible. The Bible is the scripture that came before then (according to the Quran). But again I agree with you, but you have to differentiate between my beliefs and my evangelism.

But when a Christain is compassionate for the Muslim, they say, let me introduce you to My Jesus. We never say come to Christanity or come to my religion. Have you noticed that? We always say, come and meet my Christ, the true Jesus. We always make it about Yeshua/Jesus. We never make it about religion because God is not a religion. He is a Supernatural Being of great Love and Justice. (Wrath) Christanity is religions. It is made up of many sects and all have different beliefs. But Christ is not about any religion. He is about salvation. Redemption. Deliverance. He is about Love Forgivness, atonment and relationship. He is about Family. But never religion.

God humbled himself by taking on the flesh of man, he humbled himself to the will of the Father and willingly gave his life for us on the cross. You're right, God is not weak. He could have stopped his death anytime he so chose. But he didn't stop it because he loves us. Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Jesus died with joy knowing the creation that fell into sin would have redemption in his blood. Our God is just and punishes all sins, and he is also merciful, so he took the punishment for sins we deserved. Jesus eternally existed, he was not a created son. Jesus created man knowing he would suffer and die for them. Our God is love. It is not blasphemy. We do not say what God can and cannot do. The Muslim God is not a just God. He does not punish sins, he merely sweeps them away. And if he does not sweep them away, he says Christian and Jews will burn in hell for the sins of Muslims. Allah only loves those who serve him, while the Christian God loves all and seeks that none should perish in hell. Christians are adopted as sons and we call God our Father. In Islam, the highest relationship you can have with God is a slave to master relationship. I feel bad for you and pray you will know the true God of the universe. I pray you will see Muhammad for the false prophet he was, and Allah for the Satan that he is. God loves you, and he wants you in his kingdom.
