@Invité It's not awful. It's the greatest expression of love the world has ever seen. Yes the crucifixion itself was awful. But Jesus sacrificing His life, taking every sin ever committed from the beginning of time upon himself so that we sinners can be justified and made righteous in the site of God is the greatest gift you and I will ever receive. So Jesus became what we are, sinners, so that we could become what He is righteous and holy. And through the grace of almighty God, through faith and trust in who Jesus is, the Son of God and what He sacrificed for us on the cross, and that God raised Him to life on the third day to forever defeat death, God will declare us innocent and give us new lives and a new purpose both here on earth and for eternity in heaven. The gift has been freely offered. All you have to do is accept it in faith in Jesus Christ. Amen.

@Windrake101 Год назад
Except its not that powerful. Almost all arguments against the existence of God pertain to the literalist interpretation. Not a metaphorical one. Dennis's arguments typical (but obviously not exclusively) deal in metaphorical interpretation. Heck, in todays America, the much reviled "Secular" worldview, that Dennis and his type demonize so much, currently is serving the same purpose as 'Christianity" did for Germany according to Heinrich Heine. It will get ugly for the US if/when the Theocrat gets their way.

If he is less interested in convincing people of the existence of god than the consequences on not doing so, it stands to reason that he is interested in convincing people of the existence of god. It is an illogical statement. We still don’t know if Jordan is a born again Christian. As soon Peterson comes out of the closet and let’s us know what Christian faith he believes in (I think he will settle on catholic) his wealth will grow. He can get lots of stadium church gigs. He can be in the Oval Office praying for the new Republican president-laying on of hands. His future will see a huge growth of wealth. The question will be, how much honor and integrity will he sacrifice in doing so. He has cozied up to a lot of nasty right wingers.

Clearly, the Germans were deeply humiliated by a winners victory (so much different than the soft treatment of France after the Napoleonic devastations in Europe - Vienna 1815), the harsh procrastination with the forced loss of many symbols of modernity (fleet/ industry) and a one-sided guilt attribution in the Treaty of Versailles - which was unjust. They were depleted by famine, war poverty and the mourning for the losses in every family, in a war, they did not start, but was forced on them, primarily by France (Christopher Clark - Sleepwalkers) and Russia (Sean McMeekin), and they were deeply disappointed by the USA, where they had tried to convince President Wilson (end of 1916) to moderate a peace process like Teddy Roosevelt had done with Russia and Japan in 1805 - instead he chose to send own troops to Europe. And so their feelings were disturbed and chaotic, and then came a Hitler - who can guarantee that another powerful orator and as well as sensitive listener would have emerged at that time, if he would not have shown up...? - who was capable of focusing their energies against a scapegoat ... If nobody gets away with anything ...? why did France get away for their constant aggression against Germany, the war of 1870, interwar tensions (several Marocco-crisises), the war of 1914, the brutal occupation of the Ruhr-area - would there ever existed a sufficient breeding ground for the monsters of National Socialism, if other states, primarily France , would not have prepared it ..??? Jordan I think he's right he called forth anger aggression from a larger crowd and it was about more than the war but the conflict from the Reparations would've called forth regardless I think there's a special type of evil that calls to a larger amount of peoples gross divisions and controls the ones who disagree through fear and regardless of the similarity of control they have differences in who's trusted and what they're afforded when running an empire
@mpclepto182
@mpclepto182 Год назад
The anger of the Germany people was quite possibly entirely justified. This is not to confuse their actions with justice though. The German people had seen the social destruction of Berlin (the degeneracy, pedophilia and sinfulness happening there in disgusts me to talk about). The Bolsheviks had moved into their land and were threatening to turn the entire nation into the same degeneracy that had taken Berlin. What happened the German's perpetrated was wrong and not justice, but to suggest that it was purely due to the German populace's anger towards "reparations" is to ignore the truly awful truth that the Bolsheviks brought with them. What happened in the 1940's was certainly partially a fallout of what happened in the 1920's, but much more happened in the 1930's to lead up to it. But this in an inconvenient truth that many today would like people to forget. Perhaps the best wisdom to derive from the lesson that was the atrocities of WWII is that 'an overapplication of justice is simply injustice'. The German people were right to rise up against the evil in their land. And they did. However, once justice had been served, they failed to release their anger and pursued the next 'target'. In this way they showed that the 'path to hell is paved with good intentions'. In wanting to rid their country of an enemy, they became the greater foe. This is the same reason why truth has no agenda, it simply is. Hitler, whether he the cause or the symptom, matters not nearly as much as each individual today realizing their own ability to contribute to that same awful result. We cannot change out this world's leaders, but we can change who we follow. And if we all, collectively, choose not to follow bad leaders we will one day have good ones.

Hitler used the News(like the Democrats do today) hed show how much sick people and handicap people was costing the government. The population agreed and all them went to the same camps. In a socialist government its too open for Evil. That government type has all the crimes verse humanity. All the "socialists" in the US are sitting with full bank accounts. Billions! Land of the Free (obsolete promotional taglines due to taxation); Justice for All (Obsolete with the amount of fraud and corruption with government employees greatly overlooked); The American Dream (Totally Obsolete, even Britney Spears who previously referred to herself as The American Dream now has no belief in God); Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness (Obsolete and evident with decisions made in Divorce Cases where people cannot simply move on because the courts find domestic violence and abuse so damn entertaining); PS BTW Slavery was never abolished, evident with US Nationsl Debt (www.usdebtclock.org) they just changed the terminology from Slave to Labor and continued to capitalize on their pyramid schemes.

The west is still trapped in its pagan dream, when will it end? The Romans deified Jesus to maintain their pagan, lucrative human-worship that boosted their economy but ultimately led to their downfall when the they fell too far in their self-worship. This cursed interpretation of Christianity, which prioritizes human worship, statues and images of human men and women who resembles the people of their own ethnicity, has unconsciously inspired men and women to be gods themselves, creating the countries with the greatest wealth but causing even greater economic crises as a result! This twisted pagan interpretation of Christianity is followed even by those who are atheists, its the Mother of extremist leftist and right-wing ideologies, who all share the fraternal bond rooted in the shared belief that people - or at least certain groups of people - are inherently good. They call themselves christians and wair the cross proudly on their chest, and they curse the romans for crucifying Christ, but they do not understand that they themselves are the pagan Romans, who worship images of themselves, human statues, idols, and sacrifice others for their sins! They claim to love ‘humanity’ in the name of christ but can only percieve the group they belong to as the true essence of humanity. The western world has been in a cycle of Repentence, economic growth, self-worship, economic downfall, sacrificing, repentence. Have they not nailed enough Prophets to their cross? Have they not nailed enough syrians and irakees to their cross? Have they not nailed enough Africans to their cross? Have they not nailed enough Indians to their cross? Have they not nailed enough Asians to their cross? Have they not nailed enough Jews to their cross? They eat themselves into nihilism, economic crisis and war, and can only be forced into humility by war! Not by god, for they think they are God and his angels. After sacrificing millions of innocent lives, they achieve an economic recovery fueled by humility and guilt, after which they shake religion off, and go for another round of self-worship.

The Heinrich Heine poem that Dennis Prager cites should be seen in the historical context of 1834, when the spreading of the French Revolution of 1830 into Germany could just be avoided by the German Aristocracy. The Revolution eventually happened in Germany and Austria in 1848, which is likely what is predicted correctly by the poem, but luckily it wasn’t nearly as bloody as either of the French Revolutions (of 1830 and 1789). Part of the driver behind the 1848 Revolution was a developing anti-clerical sentiment, described as the ‘broken cross’ in the poem. Great poets have a sense for the Zeitgeist and so are often able to give astonishingly accurate insights into the state of mind of their people. But there is no way Heinrich Heine could have predicted what happened more that 100 years into the future, that’s too much of a leap of faith imho.
@drooskie9525
@drooskie9525 Год назад
Of course he wouldn't know the details of something like that 100 years into the future. He knew a horror worse than the french revolution was going to happen, but did he know it was going to be specifically millions of jews slaughtered industrially like cattle at specifically around 1940s? No, but his prediction was right.

@@drooskie9525What the initial comment is saying is that this wasn't even what Heine meant. It had nothing to do with a nation vs nation or worldwide war, as well as targeting a specific group that literally didn't want to be german... Prediction was far more so related to an anti-clerical revolution, one of classes, like that of France, which in ww2 terms would mean the Germans voting for hitler and becoming nazi germany... As the initial comment says, it's highly unlikely that that's what he was going after...

I really think it's problematic to always say that the main cause for the rise of Hitler was the "hurt German proud because of ww1". This is absolutely incorrect and maybe a little side cause. The main Reason was the absolute destruction of the economy during the great depression which hited no country as hard as Weimar Germany, which completel economiy was, because of the treaty of Versailles, completely dependent on American credits which then disappeared. So the complete economy, social structure and many part of puplic life collapsed, the result were millions of people losing their jobs, starvation came back, prostitution was the main job of females at the time and of course exploding crime rates. The gov was completely unabled to deal with the situation and Hitler took that and promised economic growth, stability and order to come back. Hitler never campaigned with starting a war or the holocaust, he campaignd with bringing a new government that rebuild the country, which he also got done in the first years. That's why he was worldwide so popular, especially in the US. He was new York times person of the 1938 and nominated for the peace nobelprice. He planned the war from the beginning but never communicated it puplicly, he first established himself as prophet who heals the wounded German nation and then took the cult around him and used it as weapon.

Mark of the beast will be enforced sunday worship (the image of the beast - the papacy or Roman Catholic doctrine of Sunday worship). People will be deceived by false miracles into making a law that enforces or coerces Sunday worship law. This goes against the 1st amendment (freedom of worship). Revelation 13: 11-14 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. Look up mark of the beast (enforced Sunday worship). The Sabbath is the Lord's day not Sunday.

>Germanics were farthest along into atheism All of the European subraces have always been profoundly spiritual and animistic. The 1930s saw just as great of a resurgence in the religion of the German people (whether it was Positive Christianity or those who sought out their people's original European religion(s)) as it did in terms of economy, technology, philosophy, art, literature, and so forth. It could be argued, and I'm confident it has, that the rekindling of the German spirit was the critical piece of Germany's re-ascension (gotta be a word for that which I'm forgetting) in these other fields.
