@@emilytayte6801 yeah, kinda wish they would've gone through his backstory a little more for people who haven't really seen his videos, but he was born in the US (New Jersey, I think) and he's been in the UK since he started grad school maybe 10ish years ago. He also recently got his UK citizenship, which is why they keep calling him a Brit lol

Zack, I wear sandals into the bathroom. Take a shower and walk out of the shower in my sandals. I need very dry feet before I put on my socks. Socks are the last thing I put on and I do, sock shoe, sock shoe. The shoe gets tied as it goes on.

i am 5’2” but i still sit in the shower. after a long day of being on my feet, showering from the floor is so relaxing. it also makes shaving so much easier and ur less likely to cut yourself

Hi I came from the audio version for the sole purpose of stating: I’m 33 weeks pregnant with my third child under three years… I carry my socks downstairs, across the house and to my door, and I do sock shoe sock shoe. I WOULDNT NORMALLY DO THAT BUT 1) my floor mostly likely has dirt, juice, SOMETHING on it and 2) I can only afford to lift one leg at a time or I may stop breathing from the giant belly in my way 😂😂😂

I would never sit on the tile in my shower. Use a shower chair or stool instead. If your skin is dry after showering, try a moisturizing soap or body wash and/or apply lotion afterward. Wondering if a water softener shower head would help. A friend of my family had a really cool custom shower. It had a bench like seat in the wall that folds up and multiple shower heads on all sides.

Oh my god I literally just had the SAME experience with those same two dishwasher videos last month. I completely revamped my dishwasher routine and it was LIFE CHANGING. Miles needs to wash those videos because he absolutely does not need to do a prewash.

I’ve definitely walked barefoot through my house with socks in hand, grabbed my shoes, and sat on the couch in the living room and put them on. I skipped a day vacuuming that week and didn’t want my black socks covered in light colored dog hair. I will not go for a walk and think about what I’ve done, Zach.

That whole building heating thing is quite common in Spain, ‘calefacción central’. I lived in a place where it came on at 10am and went off at 5pm , great for the abuelas at home all day, but totally useless for people going to work.

I watched that same dishwasher video, and I now put detergent in the first compartment. Though, I will always rinse my dishes. I think it comes from not growing up with a dishwasher. I feel weird putting dirty dishes in it.

In college I had the same issue as miles with apartment heat, my unit was right above the air intake so our floors were freezing and it would be like 50 degrees in our unit. Our landlord “fixed” it by giving us a space heater 🙃

This was an amusing podcast, but if I were Evan, I'd be wondering, " Did I come all the way from England for this"? Also!!! You have to wash your jeans. Think of all the places in public where you've sat! At the very least they're fart catchers! I don't understand how people don't wash them. (They also start to look dingy after awhile.
