Dude was a socialist 😭😭😭 The March wasn't EVEN FOR CIVIL RIGHTS, we went to the underground railroad museum and they had an exhibit about it, and it was called the POOR PERSONS MARCH. The whole point was that all of those people who slept at the capital with their goats and sh*t were POOR. I don't even blame people for not knowing this, the history books in school make the whole thing seem like the March was for civil rights for black people. Especially hitting home the I have a dream speech. Learning more, the reason why so many people showed up and traveled the whole country isn't because of giving equal rights to black people, but because of like interests in being POOR. That was just the upside to that goal.
@@user-th1pv6ks5o yo, the civil rights question wasn’t in contradiction with the poor people’s movement, and that was indeed a major part of it. When you don’t even have rights to union representation, how do you build worker’s power?
@@princegobi5992 they're not saying there's a conflict. They're pointing out that people obfuscate Kings messages by pretending it was ONLY about racial civil rights when in fact he did A LOT of SOCIALIST advocacy for changing the economy overall. MLK was viewed pretty dismally, at best as trouble-maker, by white Americans until after his murder. It's a common tactic for empires to indulge the reverence of rebellious elements once they're safely dispatched and their contrarian views neutered by that idolization. @@justinkirkland3700 I know what you mean. I learned a few things watching his woodworking vids. Sad to see him go crazy but he's not the only one, a few other of the old woodworking guys are like that now too.
I’m not gonna lie. I thinks he’s trolling. Sometime towards the end of Covid his channel started doing really poorly, and he uploaded a few RU-vid shorts talking about how he had a new plan to get into the algorithm no matter what. Pretty soon after that his whole personality changed to what it is now.
@@boot_boy_6945 Can't tell you for certain if he is or isn't, but what I can say is that I saw him at the mall I work at in Portland maybe two weeks ago and he genuinely carries all of those weapons with him in his daily life, ceramic armor and all
@@maskedentrepreneur22 both sides are fucking stupid when given enough rope to go on. Ain't no side immune from it. Stupidity is rampant for any group of humans.
The Wranglestar section was wild to me because I literally saw that dude in the mall I work at in Portland. He is actually that strapped in his day to day life, it isn't just for the views, had the bulletproof vest on and everything. This isn't even the part of Portland where you have the smallest shred of an excuse to "be fearful walking around", that mall is literally the richest mall in the Portland metro area that services three of the richest parts of the metro. It's safe as fuck. I have only seen two fent heads ever in that area. And yet, he was still strapped to the nines walking out of a fucking North Face store lol
That video of his wife in the kitchen told me all I needed to know in their general location (actually I think I know exactly where they live but I'm not into doxxing people), yeah that area is racist as living hell and I am not surprised. The closest that Trump country gets to the city proper. That behavior is typical for there. It's not called "Lake No (Spanish word for black)" for no reason.
I forgot to mention that not only does he (likely) live in the richest part of Portland, he lives in the richest part of the state entirely and is surrounded by some of the other richest parts of the state. Crime is virtually nonexistent there. There is zero reason for him to walk around like that
Humanistic slave ownership is the southern narrative, it just is. I was taught it in elementary and it continued into high school as an integral part of American history. Her point of leaving a narrow world is very ironic. I still have friends who truly believe this narrative and think I’m the one who drank the cool-aid
It's like the Iraq occupation. I remember trying to explain to my fellow Americans that WE certainly wouldn't allow an army of foreigners armed with guns to move in, regardless of the cause. Like... how can you think the Iraqis would react any differently? But when THEY resist, it's wrong. They should know their place.
The wranglestar arc is fascinating. He was this gently spoken home workshop video guy. Then he went hard into shilling for various products. Then he lost his job at the US forestry service for reasons that are disputed. Then he went harder into insane prepper videos. His videos literally tell you how to make homemade weapons, designed to counter special forces, and how to penetrate UN standard armour. Either he really believes in insane one-world government conspiracy theories and thinks that the UN has like ten million special forces soldiers who are going to kick down the doors of every American, or this is all an act. But somehow the weirdest thing about it all is the production. Most preppers record on their phone without a mic and don't edit anything. This is so well produced and also he dresses super gay. He looks like he could be an LA director of photography.
I remember when he was making videos on his ranch building bridges and stacking wood. Then I stopped watching and I found him again recently. I was pretty shocked
My favorite move that i stole off twitter years ago is asking them if in their ideal libertarian utopia child sex slaves are considered property or commodity
He's leaned so hard into algorithm content it's sad-hilarious how unhinged some of the content is when presented seriously as it can't be told apart from the other zany stuff out there.
Yeah I still feel like we have to find a way to keep him, even as a pet 😂 I miss his older videos but looking back you could tell just 1 thing would send him rolling deep into paranoia
I used to watch Wranglestar to learn about chopping wood and axe maintainence, now I keep my sub to watch him slide into madness. It's a morbid curiosity as I watch a man convince himself that he personally is in danger from the deepstate.
He lost me back at "professional homeowner". That's the most masturbatory way I can imagine describing being kind of handy and mowing your lawn. And then I also kept watching for the descent into right wing lunacy.
Watching the section on Wranglerstar is so sad to watch. He did some really enjoyable woodworking videos but this rant about Tradwife and demanding a virgin shows he's completely cracked.

He's got a You Tube channel I used to watch when it was mostly geared around homesteading, reviewing survival kits, etc., but it gradually veered more into his right-wing politics. One vid, he went on this random rant about how he can't stand "pacified" East Coast people, and that his father-in-law was the only exception. When that dude (Wranglerstar) did a functions check on his pistol he actually didn't do one. He basically changed mags, and he didnt even do that well. That said, his (Wranglerstar) videos used to be more sane and actually insightful. Think "tips and tricks" for woodland living, homesteading, and fire safety stuff. Unfortunately I think Hasan is right, the guy started posting more and more unhinged during/since the pandemic. Some of it seemed to be satire, but I really dont know anymore and I feel like I've been watching someone lose their sanity slowly.
I love how unhinged wranglerstar is. He is incredibly weird from grounding his bed with a copperwire plugged into his outlet, to eating woodash from his woodstove, all the way to him talking about vandalizing parking meters and swat masks
This is the greatest crossover of all time! Wranglerstar was one of my favorites before he went down the pipeline. I still watch his shorts to giggle about how nuts his prepping is
Living on welfare is literally the opposite of slavery! You have the option to work or not and are getting paid, versus being forced to work and not getting paid. I mean, ideally, I know welfare in the US sucks, you have to work for food stamps, and if you're working on disability then you can't earn over a given amount. But those are problems introduced deliberately to try to break the system, not things that could be overcome or improved.
That's the root of all of America´s problems. You have corporations sabotaging the government for their benefit, convinging people its the governments fault, conservatives falling for the corporations rhetoric, and then further gutting the government. Whether its welfare, healthcare, unions, immigration, etc... It´s all rooted in the same problem. A 360 cycle of ignorance upheld by the conservative minority. How do brake the cycle when it´s so engrained in people´s minds? Have you tried to convince a conservative to support universal healthcare? They actually think that it´s more expensive to pay a little tax than constant exorbitant medical fees. Or try to explain the reason why there are so many illegals is because the conservatives makes legal immigration impossible... Don't think I am singling out the GOP, liberal democrats are also overly conservative, just less fascist.
Damn that dude at 14:00, I remember finding some of his videos a few years ago, seemed like a decent guy with only some views I found questionable. Sad to see he went crazy during the pandemic.
Why does every guy who say "I want a woman with traditional values" actually mean "I want a woman who thinks her duty is to settle for a loser like me"
13:45 It's funny to think that after this woman corrected her husband about whether it was trad-con lunch or breakfast, he promptly hit her over the mouth after the camera cut recording like "You're a trad-con wife! You don't correct me! And smile HARDER I've been out splitting wood barefoot all day and this is how you pay respects?!?!"

The 2nd video with the guy checking his guns and "suiting" up to go outside, is what I imagine the same check list most mass shooters use. These gun nuts don't see how creepily similar they are to mass shooters. 😮
I was so disappointed with the guy from the “how do i move” video, I randomly found his YT channel doing survival tools reviews and that was really fun for some reason, and then I found he was a complete right wing lunatic when I watched some of his vlogs.
Some of it is algorithmic agenda bleeding into the content. But of course that's a financial feedback loop making someone play crazy and they're either using what was already their or shaping themselves to become it.
I've actually seen the "welfare is the real slavery" rhetoric before, mostly from black conservatives or hoteps (hoteps are mostly conservative/reactionary too, so differentiating might be pointless). That TikTok guy is almost entertaining. It does prove that homesteaders/preppers are, at best, a few steps away from being white supremacists.

Couldn't have said this better myself. One of the BEST positions to take when debating an extremist is to let them talk and don't interrupt. Ahhh, wranglerstar... I watched a few of his videos a few years back. I knew he had some serious issues the day I watched one of his videos in which he gave his probably 12-year-old son grief for wearing flip-flops. He actually told the kid that men don't wear flip-flops and told him to take them off. It was so weird and dysfunctional and toxic and yet he UPLOADED IT. And he must be terrified every minute he's away from his home if he feels like he needs body armor and multiple guns every time he leaves. And yes, he doesn't see that he wouldn't have to be so afraid of random mass shootings if it weren't for guys like him. He thinks he's a sheepdog going out like that.
