It is true enough that all of us women should be able to wear exactly what we want to. But I think we must also remember to take responsibility of our own lifestyles, our clothes, and our bodies. Yes, security must be strengthened, but that does not mean the government should be the only one to take responsibility of what goes on in the minds of lascivious males with sick mentalities. Instead, let us pledge to adopt change from a basal level of society, starting from our homes. Teach our sons to regard other women no less than their sisters, make sure male frienda around us stop cracking sick jokes at the cost of women's attire choices, and so on. Change must start from the way our society looks at women, and not just point fingers at authorities all the time. Laws can be made, but implementation will never be there unless males in our society learn to be better humans first.
